My husband and I have experimented with pain play since we first met, but I had never been paddled before. When I saw this paddle, I decided it would be great to try. It is very popular so of course it was out of stock at first, but I put an alert on it and when I got the email that it was back in stock I ordered it immediately (side note, I suggest that for anyone that wants a highly sought after product, another item I wanted came back in stock a couple of days ago, but I wanted to earn more points so I could make a bigger order and I just looked again and it's already out of stock). When it got here, I was pleasantly surprised. The paddle was very inexpensive, so I was afraid that it might feel cheap, but it didn't at all. Both the fake fur and the leather are incredibly soft.

As I said, I've never been paddled before, so I was a little afraid of how it was going to feel, but this paddle really was the perfect starter toy. If you start out gently on the fur side and then slowly move it up you almost don't notice the pain until it jumps up and bites you on the ass(literally). I like that in a toy, because it allows me to take more. This toy is also great for more experienced paddlers too, because the leather side can definitely deliver a high level of pain.

As for care for the toy, it's pretty easy to care for. I would definitely not immerse it in water(nor can I really see why you'd need to), but if you happen to get something on the toy, just take a damp cloth and wipe it down. The toy is pretty easy to store in my opinion, because it's flat it slips right into our bedside table, which is where we keep most of our toys.
