Good Rope for Simple Tying
If you are a beginner that has never done rope play before, this is a great purchase. It lets you experiment to see if you like it without breaking the bank. This product is a great springboard into other things.
Published:
Pros
Soft, smooth, visually and sensually appealing
Cons
Not long enough for complicated ties, aglets not securely fastened
The greatest quality of this item is that you can use it to both tie your partner's arms/hands and legs/feet at the same time. It also allows for creativity by tying them down in different positions. As far as simple ties goes, your imagination is the limit!
Japanese love rope is also a money saver. It works great with other toys, such as cuffs and other limb restraints. You can connect the wrists and ankles to make a hogtie or other connecting ties without having to buy a toy designed specifically for that position. You can use the rope anywhere. Tie them to themselves, the bed, or a chair. You will be able to tie your partner down for a while without it untying by itself. The rope is also visually appealing. It has a nice twisted design. Once you tie your partner up in the rope, you will definitely be satisfied with how the rope looks on them. I like the almost tassel look to it. The rope is fairly soft and very smooth feeling on the skin. It has little friction with the skin, therefore increasing the comfort. Still, be careful when tying up your partner, you can still tie areas too tight, like the wrists, ankles, etc. this could make your experience uncomfortable.
One downside is that the aglets on the ends fall off easily. Without the aglets on there, the ends fray with repeated use. Another disadvantage is that it is not long enough for more of the complicated ties if you choose to graduate to more advanced things.
Overall, I would recommend this rope for beginners just trying to make some simple ties and maybe want to add to their preliminary BDSM collection, but if you are looking for more advanced and complicated positions, this will not be sufficient.

Experience
When I tied my girlfriend up, it was really hot watching her struggle in the hogtie position. It was also pleasant for her because the cuffs we used were comfortable and we just used the rope to connect them. That was the first time we used it and we have had many enjoyable experiences and positions since.

Looks like nice rope to learn with. Does the rope get twisted and tangled at all or does it maintain its smooth characteristics? Did the included book provide instructions on a few knots? Thanks for the review.

What is the book in the picture?
-
The book doesn't really tell you any techniques, it just really goes over safety and stuff like that. The rope does stay twisted, kinda, but the aglets do fall off and the ends can fray, but the middle really stays in tact, it does loop out in the middle.
-
The book in the picture is just basically a safety and suggestion guide. It doesn't go into a whole lot of detail of how to use the rope.

No "rope burns" on her body from struggling? What about imprinting and indentation?
-
Just like anything, you make it tight enough its gonna leave marks, but as far as rope burn goes, we have no encountered it.
-
I have this rope as well, though mine is red, and it does not rope burn that I have found.
-
This does seem like a great beginners rope. Thanks!
