Good for the Price

This toy is pretty good for the price. I would not recommend against it. However, if you want to put in a little extra money, you should definitely go for something higher quality. I would recommend it to people who want to try out light bondage with cheap handcuffs that don't anticipate the interaction to get too rough.

The "fluff" didn't shed but it did come off entirely at some points (it slid right off after a few minutes). It was easy to put back on but annoying and had to be refitted frequently, mostly whenever the cuffs were opened. It wasn't particularly useful anyway: the fuzz didn't provide much protection from the metal scratching wrists.

After using it a few times, the chains between the cuffs broke on my partner. The keys aren't really necessary as there are safety release levers. The release levers would be nice for those who want them, they don't catch on anything and are easy to use. They are a little bit too easy to over-tighten but are also easy to release. In my opinion, these levers kind of defeat the purpose of being tied up, but if you're into safety, these could be good.

For your standard bed, these handcuffs aren't the most practical. The chain's short length make it hard to tie someone up to a bed unless you happen to have some incredibly small bars or posts. I had to use a chair to handcuff my partner, which was a little bit disappointing as we would both have preferred the bed.

The irony of this product is that it will painfully cut into your wrists even when going light but it will break if you try anything hard. So is it good for beginners or advanced users? The answer is up to you.
