Go Ahead, Clamp Those Nipples!
If you're looking for a basic, no-nonsense set of nipple clamps, you really can't go wrong with these. They do what they're designed for and they do it pretty darned well.

Pros
Simple, easy-to-use, basic but very pleasing nipple clamps.
Cons
The craftsmanship could be better. The rubber caps come off too easily.
The leather nipple clamps from Spartacus do exactly what you'd expect a pretty straightforward set of nipple clamps to do -- they'll clamp your nipples well.
The clamps are about as basic a set as you could imagine, which frankly, is a pretty nice thing. Nothing fancy or complicated. Just a basic pair of rubber tipped alligator clips connected by a piece of leather. They clamp tightly and grip well, and they won't come off easily unless you want them to come off.
The rubber grips on the clips themselves are comfortable for as long as you care to wear them. The handles (where you press the clips to open them) also come with rubber tips. Even with the rubber tips, I was able to play with the clips while wearing them, twisting and tugging moderately hard without any slippage whatsoever.
The two clips are connected by a thin leather cord, which in my eyes serves two purposes. The cord is a great features because it makes losing them in your toy bag that much harder. The cord also gives you an easy to tug handle to remove the clips in a more violent and devious fashion.
As a fan of the slow, steady, building discomfort into pain that clips can cause, I was absolutely pleased with how well they performed on my own nipples. Your own sensitivity may be different, of course. Compared to other clips I've used in the past, I'd rate these up there. Not as intense as clothespins, but you'll definitely know they're there -- at least after you've worn them for a little while.
I was able to get varying amounts of my nipples into the clips. Naturally as a guy, my nipples are smaller than practically all women, but I'm confident in saying that one size will fit all.
The clips maintain a low profile while being worn, and I felt confident wearing them outside the house. You simply wouldn't know they are there, even if you were looking for them. Just don't wear them through a metal detector!
I also found the clips worked well on other body parts. They worked well on my cock and scrotum, and again, the presence of the leather cord does give a nice added bonus for that more shocking removal.
I would recommend some caution here though. While the skin on nipples tends to be tighter, other body parts have looser skin, which I did find tended to creep up into the non-rubberized portion of the clips. If you're not careful, there will be blood or at least scratches and catching.
All that being said, I wasn't blown away by the overall craftsmanship of the product. Rubber caps are slid onto what appear to be re-purposed metal clips that you would find in a hardware or electronic store. The leather cord is just a plain black strip of leather. It would be much cooler braided. Then again, for just $12, my expectations weren't too great.
Perhaps most disappointing is that the rubber caps are not permanently affixed to the clips. I found them coming off both the handles and the tips of the clips themselves (In just a few uses, I have already lost one of the rubber grips on one of the handles!).
Of course removing the rubber caps also offers a more devilish option for those who want to intensify the experience.

Follow-up commentary

For the price, these weren't terrible, but they didn't hold up. The rubber tips came off, got lost and the toy ended up being unusable. While the price is good, it's probably worth considering an adjustable and durable set of nipple clamps instead.
