The Box
This comes in a simple box. Inside you have the bit in a plastic bag. The bit itself is attached to a piece of cardboard.

The Bit
I think the bit has a lovely design. You get a shiny purple piece of cloth to tie it with. It is very soft and slick to the touch. The bit itself seems to just be a piece of plastic, relatively sturdy. On either side of the bit you have a pair of black roses. These are part-decoration, part-functional. They keep the bit from sliding off the sash, which is a good thing. And they look great. Sort of dark, like something a couple might play with if they were into bondage or vampire roleplay.

Cleaning
As per the instructions on the back, you should only hand wash this item. I would think it best to use a mild soap on the sash and around the roses. It would probably also be wise to use some type of disinfectant on the bit itself. Taking a tissue or paper towel and getting a little on that, then wiping the bit should do the trick. This is especially important if you intend on using this at a party with strangers, or with someone you only recently met.

Storage
This is a really easy item to store. It folds up nicely into about the size of a glove or mitten. So you can tuck it away in any small spot to be out of sight. Of course if you don't need to worry about that sort of thing, it's even better.

Using the Bit
The bit is fairly sturdy. Biting down as hard as I could, without going so far as to break a tooth, and I found it didn't even leave an imprint. It also seems that the best method for tying the bit is at the back of the neck so the sash runs below the ears. If you do it right, the sash can hang down on either side of the neck. This is an added bonus, as you can use the silky material to tease your lover's chest.
