Breathable ball gags along with nipple clamps and blindfolds are great for starting out BDSM. However, they can be used outside of the common BDSM play. In role play though, the person being gagged is submissive, while the one without the gag is the dominate partner. The Sinful Ball Gag is extremely well made. It will easily hold up during rough play, without being so sturdy that it isn't fun for lighter BDSM. From its price, as well as packaging, I would not have expected such a quality piece. Even with constant tugging, this is an item that will hold up well for years.

The ball gag itself is made of plastic, and has five holes on each side so that air can easily be transferred from one side of the ball to the other. The plastic is very thick and stands up to being dropped. This isn't something you have to worry about getting tooth marks on. The only bad thing is it was a little big, but I think many people would enjoy that.

The strap on the Sinful Ball Gag is made of vinyl. It is about as thick as a large sized dog collar. On the front side, it has a pink color and triangle designs across it. On the underside, it is just plain black. The strap is adjustable, but it will not work with larger than average head sizes, excluding a lot of men.

I was pleasantly surprised that the hardware on the on ball gag is made of nickel free metal. I would have expected something plastic, but this will hold up much better. Even the cut outs made for adjusting have the metal around them, instead of just being holes in the vinyl.

The Sinful Ball Gag worked very well for me. I find clean up to be easy. It is also easy to adjust, and I became used to the size of the ball. As I mentioned before, it is very durable.

Getting on and off the ball gag is extremely easy to do. The fitting holes have metal around them instead of just being openings through the nylon. Because of this, I found that I would be able to get the gag on without any help, as well as without going through the fabric by accident. It also didn't come undone at all during use.

Originally, the size of the ball on the Sinful Ball Gag bothered me. However, I found that I became used to it very easily. After the third time of using it, my jaw was no longer sore afterwards. I did notice though that if the male is the subordinate, this may not work for you because the straps don't adjust that far out.
