What an easy to use ball gag. The ball is small with holes in it to allow for easier breathing than other styles. The strap is vinyl and comfortable; no chafing of the corners of the mouth or the face here! The strap is about 26" in length and closes with a metal buckle that's easy to use. There's no quick release on this gag, though, and that could be a deterrent for those just starting to explore BDSM. If you think you might panic, this might not be the gag for you unless you have some way to notify your partner that it needs to come off ASAP, and even then, removal can be a bit slow due to the buckle. If you're comfortable with that, then this is a great toy for beginners, but everyone should be aware that due to the holes in the gag itself, LOTS of drooling WILL happen. There's no way around that!

The gag has holes all through it to make breathing easier, but it also makes drooling all over yourself easier. Some people will find that to be a plus and others will find it to be a minus, but it's all personal preference at that point. The gag, as I said, is small in diameter and doesn't stretch the jaw or hurt the mouth to wear for periods of time during sessions.

I would say that it's a great size for any user.

I like the design but would say that for brand new beginners, the lack of a panic/safety release may be a problem.
