Fun & Flirty with a Dash of Danger
I would recommend this item for any beginner just starting to explore BDSM, sensation play, etc. It is affordably priced, easy to clean and store, and supports a wide range of learning curves.

Low Sensation When Dry
Fun and flirty, with just a dash of possible danger... that's how I would describe this particular flogger. My partner and I picked one up because we'd never used any sort of rubber flogger at the time, and it was an inexpensive trial run.
The texture is very similar to that of a Koosh Ball, if you remember those kids toys. It is kind of stringy, powdery on the surface, and full of super charged static electricity if you travel with it on top of a sweater in the suitcase. When used dry, it is most definitely best suited for light play. It makes a great warm up toy, especially for those not into the heavier levels of pain. It's more of a light caress than anything else. I would put it into the same category as a bunny fur or ribbon flogger.
If you wet it, you have a completely different experience. Once it is soaked through, the water adds the needed weight to get a good medium-level impact. It also changes the sound from a light swoosh, which it made as a dry flogger, to a nice thud.
If you are looking for a heavy flogger with a lot of bite to it, this isn't it. If you are looking for something intimidating in appearance... look elsewhere, too. If, instead, you are looking for a flogger that is colorful, fun to play with, and only a wee bit dangerous looking, then this is perfect. I would recommend this item for any beginner just starting to explore BDSM, sensation play, etc. It is affordably priced, easy to clean and store, and supports a wide range of learning curves.
I've had my set of these floggers (the regular size and the junior size) for ten years, so I can confirm that they are super durable. When you are done playing, just run it under warm water with household soap, and it's good to go. I normally just hang it up to dry, because it attracts lint and fuzz like nobody's business if you try to dry it with a towel.
