This feather tickler is a great addition to the toy box of anyone who enjoys sensory play. It comes in a series of nice colors, including deep red, purple, and black. The feathers themselves are pretty sturdily bound at the base (there are two feathers that seem reinforced so they're a little more rigid and apt to keep their shape) but one should still be delicate with them, since they are just feathers, after all.

The tickler is attached to a long, thin handle. This is great, because if you're playing with a blindfold, it's not as obvious to the ticklee where you're going to tickle him/her next because you have much further range with the longer stick. This adds to the spontaneity and surprise of tickling, and overall just makes it more exciting and fun!

The bottom end of the handle is rather abrupt, and is almost a little rough (moving too quickly at the wrong angle, it could probably scratch you). For this reason, I dipped the very end into hot candle wax, and this created a smooth, rounded tip that's much safer and more comfortable if the wielder decided to use the other end.

The packaging is almost nonexistent; there's a flap attached to the handle that gives general usage instructions, but nothing protecting the feathers during shipping or storage. Again, the handle is long, so be sure to store it in a place where the feathers won't be curled over themselves or exposed to rough handling. Stuffing it in a nightstand drawer probably won't work! Since it's visually appealing and generally not too suggestive, even displaying it in plain sight would not necessarily tip off any visitors or kids.

Overall, if used with care and stored appropriately, this is a great feather wand that's sure to last a long time. It's a sexy way to tease your partner (or yourself!) and even makes a great gift.

It's still holding up great, and I still love it! The feathers are lasting long, due to careful handling and proper storage. Overall, I'm still very pleased with this tickler, and I'd definitely buy it again (or another in a different color for variety).
