The Black Rose Whipping Willow is good for first timers. It was great at stimulating me by whipping the behind, thighs, and even the breasts. This does not have any real bite to it. It is like getting several slaps all at once. This is not for someone who is looking for a real pain experience. This is for beginners and people who are experimenting only.

I really like the shape and design of this whip. To me, for my first one, it is not intimidating. I really like the purple handle. There is a rose at the end of the handle. There is a strap at the end to make sure you don't toss it across the room. The strap gives you a way to store it. Do this by hanging it up by the strap on a door hook. The leather strips are thick, pliable, and soft. I believe this is well made. The handle of leather looks to be glued and then riveted into place. The rose at the end looks to come from inside the handle. The rose is not just glued in place. The leather strips look to be in there with glue and are very tight. I pulled very hard and was unable to dislodge any of them. I think this will last a long while.

The handle is 7 inches long and 3 1/2 inches around. The leather willow strips are 17 inches long. This material is patent leather. The leather is soft and pliable. There is no real smell to the leather.

Patent leather is leather that has been given a high gloss finish. Leather is a water resistant material with a high tensile strength and high resistance to tear. Patent leather is usually used for harnesses and restraints. It has high resistance to flexing and to puncture. The leather is a good heat insulator.
The whip is travel friendly. I would use the box it came in. If you don’t have the box just fold neatly and wrap a towel around it.

I was a little scared and excited when I opened this box. I was really scared it was going to hurt. I was pleasantly surprised that it didn't hurt at all. It is very easy to swing. We found that even if you swing a little too hard you’re not going to get a real bad sting at all. I was very thankful that this was for light players. I am all for new experiences, just not a lot of pain. You can use this to lightly tickle the skin. This can be done everywhere. At times the leather strips would tangle. All you have to do is run your fingers through them to untangle them.

This really met our expectations. We were looking for light play. It left me a little pink, but it didn't stay long. This met our needs very well. I love this whip and would recommend it to any beginner.

Dirt adhering to the leather can be removed with a damp cloth, using a mild soap if needed. This material is easy to take care of. I store it out of the light so the color does not fade. You can use the box it came in or hang it by the strap.

I recommend leather cleaner. This will keep the leather from cracking. It will keep it soft.

Be careful not to store it in a plastic bag. Storing it in a plastic bag will allow mold growth.

This product came in a discreet box and label. The box the whip came in can be wrapped as a gift. All of the packaging can be recycled.

There are no user instructions with this at all. It gives a description of the whip and what it would feel like. Other than that there is no how to use, care, or store instruction. They should include them with all sales. I think the box is close to being discreet. It is very nicely done design wise. The woman on the front is in good taste.

My husband blind folded me first. Then when he ran the willows whip along my back and legs it felt tantalizing to say the least. The first smack was a surprise. I think it was the sound more than the hit. The hit didn't really hurt. I think my husband was shocked when he asked if I wanted it harder and I said "Yes." You know when your partner is smiling even when you can't see them. This has brought our sex life to a new level.

This is not a very loud whip at all. To describe the sound is quite hard. I think that when you use this it could be heard through the door. However, if you had music going like most do, you would not be able to hear it. We have two teens in this house. We also have very thin walls. Before we use anything we make sure of to manage noises.
