Disappointing cuffs!

I had such high hopes for these cuffs, but I was totally let down. These started to tear the first time I used them, and I wasn't even playing rough at the time! I wouldn't recommend these to anyone -- unless, of course, you're looking for a pair of throwaway cuffs to ruin.

Use

The Elastabind cuffs are a pair of stretchy cuffs which are intended to be used on your wrists. I have read that some individuals have used these on their ankles, too, but I have no idea how they did that. These cuffs are very tight on my very slim wrists, so I can't imagine them fitting anyone's ankles properly. I most certainly would not recommend these to anyone with thicker wrists -- even my small wrists feel like they barely fit!

As these cuffs are elastic, they're easily to escape from (but not so easy to put on, in my experience). For this reason, these cuffs probably aren't suitable for those of you that are looking for something that'll actually keep your partner restrained. And, honestly, I would be hesitant to recommend these to even someone brand new to restraint play, as I think the quality is terrible. I guess that they could be useful to see if you like restraint play, though; they're inexpensive, at least. Just be prepared to have to buy a new pair of cuffs after trying these out.

Design / Craftsmanship / Material / Size / Fit

These cuffs are made from a few different materials. Firstly, there's the elastic, which makes up the bulk of the cuffs. Next, there's the polyproylene webbing, which holds the D-ring in place. And then, of course, there is the D-ring itself, which is made out of nickel-free metal.

The elastic material is the body of the cuffs, and it feels decent enough. It's not a soft material, but it's not scratchy and uncomfortable, either. This material does have some stretch to it, but the stretch is VERY limited. Due to this fact, these cuffs could quite possibly cause the loss of circulation. In fact, I felt like my circulation was being cut off after wearing these cuffs for about 30 minutes.

The design to the cuffs is incredibly basic. It's just two little tube like pieces that are sewn together, with a D-ring attached to the front. The D-ring is useful if you want to attach the cuffs to anything else, which is useful. My big issue with these cuffs is the simple fact that the two little tubes are sewn together very poorly. I mean, I didn't struggle at all when I wore these, and they still started to rip apart.

As for sizing? These aren't going to fit large wrists; these barely even fit my tiny wrists!

Performance

The performance wasn't great at all. As I mentioned before, these cuffs started to tear about on me, and I had barely even moved while wearing them. So, no, these cuffs didn't meet my needs or my expectations. I mean, I wasn't expecting these cuffs to prevent me from escaping, but I was expecting them to not fall apart the first time I used them.

Care and Maintenance

There were no care instructions listed on the packaging, but that's okay. Cleaning these isn't a difficult task; I would suggest hand washing the cuffs and then allowing them to air dry.

As for storage, you can place this anywhere. The cuffs are small, and this folds up well, so storage should not be an issue.

Experience

Honestly, my experience with these sucked. I have small wrists and hands, but I still struggled while putting this on, even with a partners assistance. While these weren't easy to get on, they were VERY easy for me to slip out of.

Also, during my initial play session with these on, they started to actually rip apart during the session! This was a very tame session and I was not struggling at all, yet they still started to rip. The quality just sucks.
Follow-up commentary
These are just awful. I've tried them again, and they're now tearing even more. Aren't cuffs supposed to stay together?
