crack the whip and make them sing
A fantastic impact toy with a bit of wickedness, perfect for warm-up and low-to-mid intensity play, the Bad Girl Whip will bring out delightful noises from your partner and perhaps a side you didn't know you had. No matter who's throwing the whip and who's squirming under it, I guarantee you'll both have fun!!!

Pros
good quality flogger with wonderful hint of sting, woven grip for better control
Cons
will likely not satisfy heavy bottoms for intense play
This is SUCH a good starter flogger. It's maybe just a couple inches longer than I'd like, but with a bit of practice it isn't too hard to accurately calculate the distance to a sub's tender thighs and buttocks.
The faux leather is soft and pleasant to the touch when trailed over the skin or struck lightly. With skill, a light flogging can feel like being brushed by soft fingers and is entirely sensual rather than painful. Meanwhile, with harder strikes, this flogger can get a delicious bite to the hits, with a pleasant amount of sting that won't be too much for beginners. The woven strips on the handle help a lot with grip, as does the wristband (accidentally throwing your flogger through the window is *not* sexy). I liked this aspect a lot as someone with low wrist strength and weak joints, LOL. This also helps with control; it's pretty easy to level up the impact levels, with little risk of miscalculating in the "too hard" direction, so it's a great pick for beginners who aren't intimately familiar with impact play yet. (I promise you it will be addictive!)
The Bad Girl may or may not offer enough pain for a seasoned impact play aficionado - a heavy player probably won't find it satisfactory and would want to move up to something more intense for the climax of a scene, whereas someone who only wants light impact play will probably be perfectly happy to stick around with this lovely toy. Regardless of experience level, though, I highly recommend it as a warm-up flogger.
[For the inexperienced, a warm-up toy (usually a flogger) is used to get the skin primed for more intense sensation and get the blood moving before delivering harder, more painful strikes. This limits physical damage to the receiving partner and ensures that they have room to adjust to increasing sensation levels, thus lengthening your playtime. It's not much fun if you have to stop after 2 strikes because your bottom didn't have time to warm up!]
Even once I build up a larger impact toy collection, I don't see myself forgoing this one any time soon. It's a hit ... pun intended :P
DISCLAIMER: Even "safe" BDSM toys can cause serious damage if you are not using them properly. Whips and floggers are sexy, but PLEASE read up on which areas are unsafe to hit, how to throw a whip or flogger properly (especially how to avoid getting "wrap-around" - YEOWCH), and how to provide aftercare. And, of course, keep an open channel of communication with your partner during any BDSM play, especially if you or they are new to the scene.
