This blindfold is a beautiful example of luxury blindfolds that are affordable yet made well. It would be best for couples who are new or experienced at BDSM and sensory play. It's a great product for everyone.

I didn't notice that there was a rose actually sewn onto the front of the mask until I received the product. I think it's a neat idea, but not necessary. It's like they meant to make it look like a hair piece accessory, but obviously intentionally put it in the wrong spot.

I think this blindfold was made well enough to last a few years of light to rough play and use. The material is referred to as "leatherette" on the beautiful embellished dark purple paper box, but it is just pleather or faux leather. The vegan "leather" is smooth, not itchy, and feels good and silky against the skin. It feels really good on my face just having the blindfold touching my skin. The purple silk ties on the ends are silky and feel very nice, very smooth and like a satin sheet or pillow.

This is a really nicely designed and made blindfold. It can fit anyone's face and ties easily into any knot you would like to make.

My expectations were exceeded on this product. When blinded by it, you are completely blinded, blissfully and comfortably. It does not hurt the eyes or irritate the face, and it can come off if you need it to in an emergency.

The only time you will not be completely blinded while wearing this mask is if you are looking straight down while wearing it, you will be able to see down your body but not straight ahead. That means if you are lying down and it is not lowered over your nose and tied tight, you may still be able to see the partner sucking on your parts, but not as well as it would be with total vision. And if you were standing up you would be able to see your feet, basically.

If necessary, since this does include silk ties, you can use this as a pair of handcuffs and tie it around your partners wrists or even ankles to use it as a pair of ankle cuffs. Very comfortable and flexible.

I put it through the washing machine twice to see what would happen to it, and it came out fine both times. Nothing is said on the packaging about washing information, but as far as I can tell it is safe. If you are still unsure you can handwash or spot clean this, just like you would a small garment.

As for storage you can store this like any scarf or hat, in a drawer or in a closet. You don't have to put talc powder on it like a masturbator or put it in a plastic bag like a silicone dildo. You can store it any way you like. If you would like to use its original packaging to store it, you can do that too. The box it comes in is very pretty and if you have a lot of different products that you've reviewed, like I do, keeping things in their original packaging as much as possible is very convenient.
