Chain Tickler
So I got this toy as a try, and so far I have been pleased with it. I think it will be a staple in my toy collection, and both my husband and I will enjoy using it. I look forward to more use and coming up with different applications.

Pros
Nice and simple little toy that is great for getting things going and creating different sensations.
Cons
No packaging for storage. Need to be careful with the metal and chains not to get carried away.
I am developing a definite interest for floggers, so I was very interested about this one. It's a pretty simple toy. I prefer a partner when playing with floggers, so I can't give a lot of detail on how to use it, though I can say the flogger itself is light-nicely weighted to the tails.
It was a nicely different feel from the leather floggers that I have experienced because of the metal and ball chains-mostly a heat difference (see later story). Since it is metal though, you do need to be careful of how hard you hit; it could do some real damage. With that said, if you really like the whipping then this might not be for you. It's pretty well named as a tickler. It can give some good sting and slap, but it is really good for teasing the skin and sensitive areas. And being metal it can work even through clothes. When we first unpacked the my order, my husband flicked me a few times and still got a reaction, even through my jeans.
I found this a great toy for foreplay. My husband tried it all over my skin, shins, arms, shoulders, hips, and stomach, as well as the obvious areas. It worked very well with trailing the tails then a light sting as he hit me. After a bit, even the less erogenous zones were becoming highly sensitive to the touch.
This would be a great toy to use with restraints, in foreplay, or in an actual scene. It could work well with other toys. We haven't got to play with it much yet, so I'll try to put my imagination to work and report on other uses in my follow-up.
A draw back, at least for me, was that there really isn't any packaging for this toy. I have hints of a neat freak, so I like to put my toys away in their packages and proper place. I am a bit concerned that the tails will get tangled with themselves or something else by them, possibly causing some damage. So I will probably make some kind of bag or box. You could also probably just wrap it in some cloth if you are not crafty-ly inclined.
I don't think there's much chance it'll need cleaning, but since it is metal then you can just wash it. But you'll want to be careful to dry it off and look out for rusting. If cleaning is needed you want to be thorough since all the little balls in the chain will need attention.

Experience
The surprise with this toy was the temperature. Since it's metal, unless you take the time to warm it up, it will probably be cooler than your skin temperature. This a was bonus because not only was it a flogger, but then I also got a mild hot wax/ice effect. My skin was considerably warmer than the tails, so when my husband ran it over my skin I got the tickle and cold shivers. My husband got a kick out of this. Especially since the tails weren't nearly as cold as they seemed.
Follow-up commentary
4 months after original review
I fell even more in love with this after some further practice. As I said before, it is weighted heavy since it is out of metal, so you really do need to practice some. But I found that it makes a great helicopter whirly bird motion for quick, soft to hard-ish strikes that are great for a simple sensory overload. Then you stop and trail the cool tails over the skin. Ooooooo mmmmmmmmmmm. Can be really, really good for very sensitive, erogenous zones. Since it is so heavy trying to hit hard is not only probably a bad painful idea, but also difficult to control for a good flick. If you want that get a leather flogger. Again, be careful of the strength of the hits since this is metal and can really hurt.
