It is made out of leather and neoprene, and seemed to be pretty well made and sturdy. There are two neoprene rings that are connected by leather straps and snap closures. The larger ring is meant to be put behind the testicles, while the smaller sits at the base of the penis. The longest leather strap connects the two rings by connecting at the base of both and sitting in between the testicles. The smaller strap connects both rings at the top. The neoprene rings stayed tight, with very little give, and the leather held everything in place really well. You can pull it apart into two sections to take it off or for cleaning. Only the smaller ring (which is 1 3/8" in diameter) comes completely away from the leather itself. The larger ring (which measures 2 inches in diameter) that sits behind the testicles, has both leather straps permanently attached. Cleaning the smaller ring is very easy with toy cleaner, or soap and water, the leather can also be wiped clean, and can be put under running water, but I would be careful using any cleaners on it.

The instructions included with the product made putting it on a breeze, and the plastic packaging seemed nice, unfortunately it had to be cut open, so one couldn't keep it and use it again. A storage option would have been nice to have if it was included. It is not. I would have preferred a sturdy plastic storage box, or a cloth bag.
