Butterfly of PAIN
I was disappointed when I got these. Not in the product, it is wonderful, but in my lack of ability to tolerate the pain they cause. They are beautiful and look wonderful on, but do not take them lightly, they hurt.

Pros
Beautiful, strong, effective
Cons
Dont open very wide, painful
These are Spartacus' butterfly clamps; I assume they call them such because of their shape and not due to their "gentle" nature. They are beautiful. I saw them in the package and could not wait until Master got home so I could try them on. I wish I had done it on my own now, because I ended up in a lot of pain when I tried them on. I could not leave them on for more than a moment on the left side (for some reason that side is more sensitive). It is a little more tolerable on the right side, however still very painful and I cannot tolerate them for more than a couple minutes. The metal worx clamps I have tried are way too tame, and these ones are way too painful, will I never find my perfect clamp?
Now these are beautiful and if you have a good tolerance for nipple pain, I would absolutely recommend these to you. As I already stated, they are beautiful. They are made of metal with small rubber pads on the parts that close on the nipples. They have a metal chain that runs between the clamps for pulling on, or for running a chain from up to the ceiling, walls, and so many more ideas. They are great for those who can tolerate the pain as when you pull on them the tension causes the pressure on the nipples to increase.
The clamps themselves are 3 1/2 inches long and 1 1/2 inches wide. The chain that runs between them is 12 inches long. When fully opened the clamps only open about 3/4 of an inch, which could cause an issue with people with larger nipples. I do not know what type of specific metal they use, as they do not specify, but I would recommend against getting these wet as it might cause rust. There are little nubs on the rubber part of the clamps. I honestly have no idea if this is supposed to serve a purpose, but I cannot imagine that it does much of anything.
For people new to these, I would not recommend leaving them on for any extended period of time as it can hurt long after you take them off and often it causes more pain when you take them off as the blood returns to the area. I put one of these on the skin of my pinkie and my pinkie actually turned purple within a couple minutes from the lack of blood flow. I think they are probably too big for most people to be able to wear under clothing without them being noticed.

Experience
I am very sad that I cannot use these and get any pleasure out of them, but I am keeping them and hoping in the future that I can use them more comfortably.
Follow-up commentary

These still cause me way too much pain to fully enjoy using them and that is disappointing as I really really want to use them. I just cannot tolerate that much pain I guess.
