This tape is a soft, slick feeling tape that feels good against the skin. There is no noticeable smell, which is important to me, because there is nothing that kills the mood faster than focusing on a smell. It was easily torn, so we did not need to have scissors or a knife to cut a good strip off when we used it. My husband was able to tear a large section off with no problem. You can also reuse the piece numerous times, so do not throw away the piece you used. It will continue to re-stick to itself as long as you do not stretch it too much; because it does re-stick, you can easily reposition it.

I love that the tape is not a sticky tape, so there is no hair pulling, or any painful ripping off of the skin. It sticks to itself well enough that you can do this loose or tight on yourself. It's easy to get out of, so if you do need to feel completely controlled, it may or may not work for you. When I used it, I only had my wrists wrapped, and it was really easy for me to stretch and get out of, but not without a little struggling.

I would say it is more for the beginner. It's a good introduction to bondage, because you can use it tight or loose and it won't make you feel panicky knowing you can slip out of it if needed. Its price makes it attractive too, because if you do get it to try out bondage, you do not feel like you're invested into handcuffs or ropes that you won't ever use again if you find out it's not for you. That being said, if you do find you like it, this can be used to experiment with different holds. I am sure there are many ways you could use it and make it so that you can't escape from it, which I will be trying in the future.
