This is a great blindfold for just about anyone that wants one. It also works well with binding wrists, or ankles, together. And it can even work as a figure-8 binding around a female partner's breasts, depending on their size. Beginners will find the sleek softness of the toy to their liking, while Advanced users will enjoy the strength of the sash and its visual appeal.

The design has a very nice appearance. Black or purple, both excellent color choices. One thing I didn't like is the fact that you have two strips of material, one black, one purple. They are sewn along the edges but not up the middle. This means that when you hold it between your fingers, you can slide the two pieces back and forth. Some may not like this slick movement, while others simply won't mind it. It has a decent length to it so that it can be used for multiple things.

Experimenting with the sash, I found it to work well in a variety of situations. As a blindfold, it works best if you snug it close to the face before pulling it around the sides of the head. This lets it mold over your eyes and blind you more effectively. I also found that you could easily use it to tie a wrist or ankle to the bedposts. Four or five of these would work well to blind a partner and tie them spread eagle in a sexy way. Slipknots work best when you are able, so a simple tug can remove the binding, without having to deal with a normal knot (which can get very annoying to remove).

Some things about cleaning the blindfold, should any bodily fluids get on it. First, hand wash or delicate cycle only. Only use cold water with a gentle detergent (Woolite). During a hand wash, let it soak in sudsy water for 3 to 5 minutes, gentle squeeze the suds through it. Rinse with cold or cool water.

Do not, under any circumstances wring or twist it to dry it. It'll mess up the shape. Rest it flat on a clean/dry towel and roll the towel up like a jelly or pumpkin roll and apply pressure to squeeze out the water. Unroll, remove the blindfold, and rest it flat on another towel so it can air dry. Do not place it near excess heat or sunlight during this time.

Since satin should be ironed inside-out, you should avoid ironing this item, due to it being satin on both sides.

Additionally, do not wash with hot water. It can shrink the blindfold. You can store the blindfold in an airtight container, somewhere cool and dark.
