The Divinity Blindfold is a gorgeous blindfold that is made by Spartacus. The entire blindfold is color-schemed in both white and blue. The front side of the blindfold is covered in what appears to be faux leather while the backside of the blindfold has some soft faux fur on it. The elastic wraps around the back of the head to keep this blindfold on. This blindfold is about eight inches in length and three inches in width at the widest point. This blindfold is also part of a larger matching set which you can buy here on EdenFantasys that includes ankle cuffs, wrist cuffs, and a collar.

The packaging for this is really simple and resembles most other Spartacus packaging; a tasteful picture of a woman in the corner along with tasteful packaging on the rest. The plastic it comes in is suitable for storage if you'd like, but I'd highly recommend against it. The packaging does fold the blindfold in half, which while you can't see it in the product pictures, this is going to cause your blindfold to permanently have a small crease in the middle of the nose piece. It's not a big deal and doesn't affect play, but for that reason, I'd recommend against keeping it in the packaging.

The blindfold itself seems to be pretty well-made. I really have no complaints about the construction. The faux fur and the leather are sewn together really nicely with a neat stitching around the outside. The elastic band is sewn on between the piece of leather and the piece of faux fur. The leather on the front seems to be have been crafted around the gems on the front side, so I would honestly expected the gems to not fall off from regular use (we haven't seen any sort of weakening or anything). I am slightly worried about the elastic possibly weakening and getting loose at some point, but honestly, that'll be years in the future and, by then, I'll be quite happy to splurge another twenty dollars on a copy. The fur isn't falling off or anything like that either. Just for your information.

The best part about this blindfold? It freakin' works! We've tried out a couple different blindfolds in the past in hopes of finding one that couldn't be peaked under, and this one works! The reason this works is because of the nice cut-out where the nose goes. This allows for the nose to sit comfortable underneath the blindfold without the nose raising up the actual material of the blindfold itself. This means that this blindfold does not actually let in a single iota of light. None. Zilch. Considering we've been looking for a blindfold that actually does its job, this is a miracle.

So how tight is it? Dreamily perfect. It stays perfectly on the head, and the elastic holds it on nicely, but it doesn't actually press up against the eyelids. The boyfriend says that he can actually open his eyes comfortably while wearing the blindfold but because it's so perfectly fitting, he can't actually see any of his surroundings. (We both wear contacts, so having a blindfold that doesn't press up on our eyes is a must. Taking out your contacts just to wear a blindfold is ridiculous.) He says that the faux fur honestly doesn't make much of a difference aside from just feeling really comfortable and soft on his face.

We didn't find that the faux fur actually made his face any warmer. We used this at home a couple times as well I took it with us to a play party. At both places, he said he could comfortably wear the blindfold without any swear. However, the boyfriend does run a little cold at times, so this may have just keeping him at a comfortable body temperature.

A blindfold honestly doesn't take too much care or cleaning. I'd recommend keeping it away from lubricant or anything like that. For most cleaning, you just need to wipe it with a damp washcloth to get all of the dirt off of it. Since this is an all-white piece, you might end up doing that wiping more often than with a black piece. For storage, I recommend laying it out flat some place to hopefully get rid of the ingrained fold that it has in the leather. However, you can easily place it back in the original packaging if you don't mind the fold in the leather.

For us? This is now the perfect blindfold. I've stopped looking for another one. We have exactly what works great for us. It doesn't let in any ounce of light, the design is adorable, the elastic holds it well, it's comfortably tight, and it's durable, well-designed, and has a full matching set. We also love it because it isn't the traditional "Grawr! I'm all black and evil-looking!" BDSM gear. Why not stand out in the middle of a play party?

I actually smiled when I saw this Divinity Blindfold was up for a follow-up because we were actually just using this blindfold last night. It still works great, and it's still our favorite blindfold that we own. We've been careful to keep it away from anything that could stain it, and the blindfold looks still brand new. Even after multiple uses, the elastic is still nice and tight. We actually have received the wrist cuffs as well since I enjoyed the blindfold enough. Definitely a great product and worth the purchase.
