These cuffs really are for decoration only. They're wearable, they'll most definitely withstand day-to-day wear, but they are in no way suitable to actually restrains someone. If they're in a situation where they're likely to flail around and stuff. If you're going for show? Maybe a parade or something? Then that's perfect!

The thing I really love about these is that they'd work so well with so many different types of outfits, from formal wear to gothic wear to daily wear. Sometimes it's so hard to find accessories like that!

Each cuff consists of 5 rows of black pearl beads. Fake pearls. They're connected using what looks to be a silver wire to a piece of metal on either side. Each cuff also has a lobster claw clasp on both ends. I really wish it was a round clasp, rather than a lobster claw as it makes it much harder to put on yourself.

The length of the cuff is 6 1/2". My wrist is 6 1/2" so that makes it a rather perfect fit, just impossible for me to put on myself.

It comes with a chain that's about 6" long; it's a series of metal O-rings connected to each other. It's really quite dainty and pretty. Just connect one end of the O-ring chain to one lobster claw and the other O-ring to a lobster claw clasp on the other cuff. And his/her wrists are bound together.

This cuff set is really quite cool. These can be worn as simply jewelry, but take out the chain and they become bondage gear; albeit light bondage gear.

You will most surely want to measure his/her wrists before purchasing these, as they are not adjustable.

These cuffs perform very well. They're sexy, they're discreet and they can be both jewelry and sexy bondage wear. Even as tight as they are on me, they are still very comfortable to wear as the whole cuff is very smooth.

They can be difficult to put on though, as they don't necessarily lay well on the wrist. I had to hook mine together and let them sit while clasped for a while to help shape them round. That was quite minor though.

The cuffs do not come with long term storage; I suggest putting them in a jewelry box or other similar storage case. For cleaning I wouldn't do more than wipe a damp cloth over it. I would take care to not get it too dirty; it would be hard to clean between the beads if food gets spilled on it or something similar.

The box is very pretty. When you open the top flap you see through a window the cuffs and chain sitting in a little push out tray. Mine fell apart quite quickly though; it's not very sturdy.

I absolutely love these. However I wish I'd have taken better care reading the sizing.
