The leather is just simply stunning on this flogger. It seems to be of a very high quality. It is very soft and smooth to the touch. I've noticed that the leather is also slightly padded on the tails. This is nice for individuals who want to try floggers and are unsure if how much pain they can tolerate.

The handle appears as if it might be handcrafted. Both my bf and I wondered about that, but have no solid evidence to support or disprove this. The purple leather is neatly wrapped and is very even. It is secured by what looks to be a tack. At the end of the handle is a beautifully crafted black rose, which is the signature decoration of items in the black rose set.

The whip comes in a cardboard box, with a plastic bag and the handle is wrapped in tissue paper. I assume this is to protect the leather. The cardboard box even feels slightly velvety. The box could be used for storage but currently I just store mine on the dresser, it lays flat. Though it could also be stored by hanging it by the loop on the handle.

So far I haven't needed to clean the tails on this. though a damp cloth could be used to clean them and when necessary leather cleaner/conditioner would be a good idea.

My bf has used this on me a few times so far. I personally enjoy pain and he hasn't been able to hit me hard enough with this that it was too much for me. Typically he will hit my ass with it though he also likes to brush it across my skin because I'm very ticklish and this will make me squirm. He has found many different ways to use this and I'm sure you will too.
