Pros
Very sturdy and well made, yet comfortable enough to wear for ages.
Cons
Not a thing..
Aslan Leather (a kick ass Canadian company, by-the-by) makes a number of breathtakingly gorgeous leather (and vinyl or rubber) restraints, harnesses, impact toys etc. If you've never had the pleasure of feeling the soft, sensual, and dare-I-say luxurious comfort from an Aslan product, you are certainly missing out. Aslan has a line of products that all have the name Jaguar – including these wonderful little wrist cuffs – because honestly – who DOESN'T want to feel like a Jaguar in the bedroom?
Twelve inches long and two inches wide, these Jaguar cuffs are designed to fit all wrists (or maybe most wrists) with ease. Made of multiple layers of black leather, these Jaguars feature a buttery soft inner “cuff core” made of two different garment quality leather pieces stitched together. The inner part of the cuff is a decadently soft and thin leather, the type you kind of want to roll around in and rub all over your body, while the second layer of leather - the visible portion - is a slightly thicker, slightly smoother leather, and gives the cuff a polished and professional look when worn on the wrist. On top of this “cuff core” is a heavy duty bridle made of stiff, thick and smooth leather that is attached to the softer core by a series of rivets. The innermost layer of the cuffs covers up the backside of the rivets, meaning that the only thing in contact with skin will be the luxuriously soft garment leather.
The bridle also serves as the attachment point for the D-ring and buckle components. At the halfway mark on the cuff, between matching sets of side by side rivets, the nickel plated D-rings are firmly affixed by being looped under the bridle. Because of this, the D-ring has lateral room to wiggle back and forth, and thus the stress placed on the cuffs by wiggling and squirming is taken on by the rivets – all four of them. I have had these cuffs for quite some time and I see no indication of any ripping, tearing, or degradation of these attachment points – in fact, I would go as far as to say that these cuff could well be handed down to future generations, they're just so sturdy!
The buckle itself is a standard-ish buckle – but it's a locking buckle, which means that the central buckle prong contains a loop through which a lock (zip tie, thin rope, elastic band, dental floss) can be fastened or crafted, preventing the haphazard release of the buckle by a Houdini-like cuff wearer. The buckle is attached, again, by the bridle leather looping through, and being fastened down by another rivet. The other side of the cuff has six do-up holes on the bridle, and is anchored securely to the “cuff core” by yet another rivet. The design of the cuffs is such that most of the strain from trying to get free will be taken care of by the attachment around the D-ring, but it is nice to see that even under extreme duress, the buckle itself won't prove to be a weak point.
I personally have wide wrists, as girl's wrists go (big bones and a generally big frame), yet I only wear these cuffs at the third smallest hole. In fact, I can even get these cuffs around my ankles – at the largest setting mind you, but still – they have an impressive range. The description says that they should fit wrists 6.5”-8.5”, and I agree that they will do exactly that, quite comfortably.
All in all, an extremely excellent and well made set of wrist restraints, and a staple in my bedroom, where they hang out clipped off to my headboard, ready to be used at the drop of a hat. They're comfortable enough to struggle against as hard as I possibly can, to wear for hours on end behind my back, and stylish enough to come out as an accessory for a kinky party.
Go on, Jaguar-ify yourself. You know you want to.

These still kick some serious ass, and show no signs of wear and tear despite some pretty vigorous use. Occasional conditioning with leather care products is certainly recommended, however, as I do note a few spots that could crack if left unchecked.
