Basic but unnecessary
A cute non-threatening kit that can be nice to ease newbies into bondage. Bondage vets will most likely find it lacking and the "scent" is a far strange cry from vanilla.

Pros
great for beginners, easy to store,
Cons
too basic, bad smell, doesn't offer anything special that makes it worth buying
If you're new to bondage this ultra basic kit can be a nice non-threatening way to ease into it. If you're beyond even the very basics of bondage, this is not the kit that you're looking for.
The Vanilla bondage kit comes packaged in what looks like a pint of vanilla ice cream. The kit itself contains an off white blindfold and some nylon straps. The straps also have a light "vanilla" scent to really play up the vanilla side of things. A nice set of straps that can be tied to anything with blindfolds and that sweet yet seductive scent of vanilla. It's nice in theory.
However in reality the Vanilla Bondage kit falls short. This kit is only really good for absolute beginners or couples who need some straps and ties in a pinch. Most couples who begin dipping into bondage can easily get the same results with household items lying around. I've used ribbon, shirts, scarves, and rope. That's not to say the kit is totally useless. The straps can hold decently and the blindfold can just be kept by the bed for sleeping when it's not being used for sensory deprivation.
The smell, however, is another issue. I didn't find it to smell anything like vanilla. The smell was more of a mix of cardboard and a weird super sweet smell that reminded me a bit of a hard "ice cream" candy I had once. Regardless, it was nothing even close to vanilla. Some might like the smell, my partner and I didn't.
If you're just starting out, the Vanilla Bondage kit might seem like a good investment but in the long run you're much better off using household items or using other kits. It's not inherently bad, it just doesn't seem worth it to me.
