Barely More than 'Just Looks'
May look like it's poorly made, but holds together well and has proven to be as good as expected in a flogger. Great for beginners and good for experienced users as well.

Pros
Easy Handling; Stingy; Thuddy
Cons
Looks Weak
I have always been into kink, BDSM, dominance and submission, and the like. When I saw this, I had recently decided to get more into it, and wanted an upgrade from the beginner flogger that I had. The one I originally had was leather, had significantly fewer tails, and was smaller.
The Diamond Whip (or, more accurately, flogger) is just short of 18 inches long from the base of the handle to the tips of the tails, with the handle being about seven inches. It's incredibly lightweight, which makes it easy for me to use. The handle seems to be the PVC material wrapped around something to give it shape - which is, to the best of my knowledge, some sort of styrofoam. The 'diamonds' are in two thin rows each around the bottom and top of the handle and going up the handle in one spot, where the seams are.
Upon first inspection, I instantly deduced that it was a poorly made flogger. There are a lot of seams on the handle that looked like they were ready to rip open before even using the flogger. Half of the 'diamonds' (which did nothing for me to begin with) were already popping out. It looked like it had been either used previously or handled poorly during shipping. Personally, I can't hold the part that has the 'diamonds' on it because it's uncomfortable for me, but every other part of the handle is pain-free. The PVC material on the handle makes it difficult to grip if I'm sweating, but is otherwise fine. The handle itself seems to be made of the PVC wrapped around a wooden cylinder.
This was my first experience with the PVC material, and although I plan on trying it out more before making a definite decision - my experience with this toy makes me dislike the material. It gets dirty easily, even just from fingerprints, as it's such a shiny material. This toy can be cleaned, but cannot be sanitized so I recommend only using it with one partner and cleaning it thoroughly, especially if you play hard enough to draw blood. Care instructions for PVC are to clean with warm water and antibacterial soap, or a toy cleaner. Oils and anything oil-based will degrade PVC. The material list also includes polyester, but the only place I've located this material is the back of the tails. Care instructions for this are to hand-wash in lukewarm water and very mild detergent, but because it's so closely attached to the PVC, I recommend just a toy cleaner.
I've owned this toy for maybe six months and used it no more than three times, in both soft and rough play. So far, I've had no concerns with the seams that look ready to come undone, which was a huge surprise. Despite being aesthetically displeasing and looking cheap, this toy has proven to be much more durable than I had anticipated in the hard sessions I used it for. As a dominant flogging someone else, it was easy to handle and I was able to control exactly where it hit them and how hard. It was easy and there was practically no learning curve to it, which means it would be a great beginner's flogger. Because of it's durability and great handling, I believe it would also make a great toy for more experienced partners as well. As a submissive being hit, I found the sensation to range from an amazing thud to a sharp stinging. I believe that this toy could be used in solo-play, but is made for and best as a toy for partners. As far as caressing, it's too sharp or too scratchy which makes that sensation less than enjoyable. I also enjoy the whistling sound as it flies through the air - it's quieter than most whips I've heard but is still a pleasant noise.
So, all-in-all, my initial thought that it was easily breakable has turned out to be untrue thus far and although I still fear it may break at any time, it has proven to be durable and reliable so far.
