So, when I got this (in pink, of course), there wasn't really anything in the way of extra packaging, as I had expected. No boxes, no frills... it was just simple. However, when I took it out, the rubber smell was pretty overpowering, and since it's pretty much out in the open, you don't really know what has touched it. I highly suggest that you do like I did and clean it. I know that rubber is porous and doesn't clean well, but I did my best with some gentle cleaning wipes. After I was through with that, the toy still had a distinct rubber smell, but it wasn't unpleasant in my opinion. It fact, I liked it quite a bit.

ACTUAL EXPERIENCE: The Rubber Whip Junior is easy to maneuver and has a nice cord that you can slip around your wrist for extra security. It's perfect to use to deliver blows to your own body and to your partner. I particularly love how it's so bouncy. Sure, it's not hardcore, but the way it snaps back after you strike makes a pretty awesome whooshing sound that makes me wet just thinking about it. I found that with patience and a lot of smacks, you can get a nice red color that can last for an hour or two. Maybe that's just because my former partner and I are incredibly pale though.

The whip itself delivers a nice sting if there's enough force behind it. I've also discovered that it's pretty fun to lightly tickle your own or your partner's genitals with the tips.

All in all, it's one of my favorite toys, and it will always hold a special place in my heart as my first BDSM-type toy.

*This toy makes a MEAN pussy whip, though. While I would proceed with caution since it's made of rubber and may not be entirely clean enough to put up to your privates, I've got to say that when my ex accidentally hit my pussy with it when she was spanking me, it was like fire. Personally, I thought it was pretty awesome. However, unless you're experienced, make sure to do your research to avoid damage there. I don't want anyone to get hurt.
