A Well Made Bondage Basic
These are a very well made, reasonably priced pair of wrist restraints. They're very comfortable, fit well, and the wide d-ring allows a lot of flexibility.

Pros
Strength of materials, solid craftsmanship, wide d-ring accommodates different restraint options.
Cons
Leather quality seems hit-and-miss, some superficial paint wear and tear on the hardware after use.
The softness of the nylon surprised me when I tried on these wrist restraints|Wrist kink cuffs. The wide band was smooth and wide with just the smallest bit of scratch from the edge. They fit well - you can adjust them in half-inch increments - and the hardware felt solid.
It’s very easy to attach these wrist restraints to objects. There’s a wide d-ring that is roomy enough for hooks, rope, and pretty much anything else you can think of. In this case, a friend attached a swivel hook to a loop of 3/4-inch nylon rope, attached that to the bed frame with a girth hitch, and, finally, the hook to my wrist restraints.
I pulled very hard. I struggled and moved my wrist around to the extent that I could. The wrist restraints remained firmly in place. The thin red leather strap is attached to the nylon strap with a series of rivets and they’re very well made. I put everything I had behind it (and I’m no slouch) and there wasn’t any sort of give or any sense that the wrist restraints would break. The nylon strap also made it very easy on my wrists. I felt the pressure of the restraints against me, but I didn’t feel there would be any chance of me cutting or chafing my skin. Regardless of how hard I pulled, there seemed to be nothing I could do to break the restraints, hurt myself, or escape.
I didn’t find anything really negative about the restraints, but there are a few aspects that I’m not thrilled by. First, the red leather sheds a bit. Second, my wrists are large and the d-ring placed on the outer part of my wrist wasn’t symmetrical with the fastener on my inner wrist - nothing major, but it did make me feel a bit out of balance. Third, I did note some wearing of the silver coating on the d-ring after having it attached to the snap hook. All the hardware on the wrist restraints is made of metal, but it is topped with a thin coating of silver paint. Apparently, that coating can be worn off with use. I’m taking this as a sign that the restraints were properly broken in.
I’m interested in bondage|BDSM toy guide, but I’m still very much a novice and I liked these restraints because they cater to that. They’re very effective at doing what they’re designed to do and the size of the d-ring means that they have quite a bit of flexibility in terms of how they can be attached. So far I’ve limited their use to attaching them to each other or my bed, but I have the sense that these restraints can accommodate whatever else I plan on introducing into the bedroom as my creativity and knowledge develop. These are a pair of restraints that I think I can have for the long haul.

I don't know about retaining its form as there doesn't seem to be much form to retain. The nylon sticks out about half an inch on either side of the leather strap, so the attachment to the leather is really what's giving it the shape (rather than the strength of the nylon).
