Beginners interested in experimenting with bondage and advanced BDSM practitioners alike will enjoy this product. It's a very simple restraint kit (no bells and whistles or any fancy, expensive material,), but it's really all you need to hold someone down. The one drawback is that the bed (or whatever other surface you are tying your partner to) needs to have posts or something that you can tie the restraints to. This is NOT an under-the-bed system. Use is very simple: you put your partner's wrists and ankles in the cuffs on the end of the restraints, then tie the restraints to something like bedposts. You can restrain your partner as loosely or as tightly as you please. While the feather tickler really doesn't do much (however, my partner and I use it as a cat toy when we do petplay with me as a cat), the blindfold is fun to use.

The design is simple, yet effective. The cuffs are a soft, velvety material and each one is attached to a nylon strap. These straps can be tied to something like a bedpost to hold the wearer in place. Velcro on the straps close the cuffs. They are adjustable to fit just about any wrist size, and the velcro is strong enough to resist tugging without the cuffs opening. The material on the inside of the cuffs make them very comfortable, so there's no need to worry about chaffing. Although they aren't made of tough materials like leather, the cuffs and straps are very sturdy, and can withstand a lot of tugging and struggling.
Their simple design is more than adequate for holding one's partner down.

The blindfold which also comes in this kit is very soft and comfortable to wear (it's made of the same material as the cuffs). However, it doesn't always stay in place and tends to slide upward or downward on the wearer's face. Also, even when it is in place, it doesn't completely obstruct the wearers vision at the bottom. The feather tickler that comes with the kit is very flimsy. It's only a piece of plastic with the type of feathers used in children's crafts coming out of it, and the feathers fall out easily. My partner and I don't even bother using it as a tickler. We just tie it to a string and use it as a cat toy when we do petplay.

As I've said, the cuffs are extremely comfortable, and hold up very well during use. You can be tied up while lying on either your stomach or back; it doesn't matter. If you have a partner that squirms and struggles during play, it's no problem; the restrains will hold firm. When I purchased this product, I wanted a sturdy, simple, affordable restraint set to replace the one that I had recently lost, and I got what I wanted.
