A Lot of Bark and Even Some Bite!
We've been very pleased with this addition to our impact play toys, it is great for lighter teasing play. Nicely balanced and large crop tip make this a great beginner toy for those interested in getting into impact play. I definitely recommend adding this one to your toy collection!

This is a great little crop for mild to medium impact play, while giving lots of satisfying sound! The leather tip of this crop is larger than most and is split giving it a lot of bark as the 2 slabs of leather come together against your partners' body. Great for use on buttocks, breasts, thighs or even gentiles (with care of course). Great for beginners or for warm up and teasing.
This is a very nicely made piece from Spartacus, as most of their pieces are, I've come to appreciate the quality of the products they make. This crop is no exception to that. The tip is made of 2 pieces of quality leather, nicely stitched together to about half way up, leaving the last 2.5" split (unstitched). The total tip length is about 6" long and full crop length is about 24" total. The handle is also wrapped in a nice soft leather and has shiny metal caps at each end, giving it a very comfortable and sturdy grip. And the cane portion is lightweight and slightly flexible.
There really shouldn't be much need for cleaning with toys such as this, avoid getting it too wet as it may ruin the leather. If it gets stained or soiled somehow I advise visiting a leather or tack shop and getting leather soap to clean it with. As for storage, it doesn't come with a loop to hang it by, I attached my own. But storing it in a drawer or closet should be fine as well.
The packaging it arrived in was very minimal, consisting of just a clear plastic bag, which was sealed, and a small tag with the manufacturer's information on it. Certainly not discreet but also not overly bulky or difficult to dispose of. This packaging will probably not do for storage.

Follow-up commentary
7 months after original review
This is still a great little beginners crop. The ends have frayed a bit and the pieces of leather don't lay flat anymore, but it still gets the job done and is short enough to be manageable.
