This is a fun little crop! It is excellent for those that are curious about crops and already have some experience with BDSM yet it is also suited to those that are more advance and want to add something fun and playful to their toy collection. The second reason is why I decided to pick it up and, I have to say, it adds a bit of color to the BDSM drawer!

The reason I recommend this more for moderate players is since it is a crop there are no falls to manage. This makes it easier to concentrate on the task at hand however if one is not aware a very painful blow can be given with the shaft of the crop; acceptable if discussed and desired by both parties, completely unacceptable if it was not.

The Fresh Flower Crop is easily managed by everyone. It is quite light yet appears to be well made which is unusual in the more playful BDSM accoutrements. The shaft is covered in black braided nylon that is covered on one end by a shiny metal cap. On the other end is a 2 1/2" pink circle shaped polyethylene slapper that is adorned with a light blue polyethylene flower and all stitched up with white thread.

The handle is wrapped in matching pink polyethylene and finished with a simple silver metal cap. This is a very cute little crop as far as appearances go. As far as scent it has virtually none unless you press it against your nose and really inhale, then you can get an extremely faint plastic-y smell. One thing I noticed is that unlike some crops I have this one does not have a wrist strap. For me that's not a big concern, just something I noted upon examining it.

After unpacking the Fresh Flower Crop and examining it I had a feeling that it would be quite tame as far as sting goes. Upon actually playing with it that was confirmed. However it is perfect for those times you would like to concentrate on a single area, striking the same location multiple times. It flushes up the area to a light shade of pink in a relatively short period of time for someone more fair skinned like myself but it can take a bit longer on someone that has thicker or darker skin.

One thing I noticed is when the same area is struck several times a pleasant sting builds but quickly fades. This is good for people that do not enjoy lingering pain or would like to use it in more sensitive areas that repeated striking with a more harsh instrument would become quite unpleasant. This crop is fantastic for breast whipping, pussy whipping and, though we have not yet tried it, I believe that it would also work quite well for men that enjoy mild cock and ball whipping. The slapper can also be used by dragging it lightly across the skin like a tickler. It has a soft, silky touch that is quite pleasurable.
