A Great Addition to Any Collection
This is a great toy for anyone and everyone! No matter if you're a curious beginner or an experienced veteran in BDSM play, this will be a fantastic addition to your collection - durable, versatile, snazzy, and exciting.

Pros
Durable, easy to clean, delightfully versatile, easy to grip, simple, and pretty.
Cons
Tangles easily, wrist strap can be a hindrance rather than a help, and is slightly off-balance.
I originally received this toy as a gag gift for my birthday a couple years ago...Little did they know I would actually be putting it to use! ;)
This is a great beginner's toy. If you're curious about BDSM play and don't wish to shell out the big bucks for an expensive leather flogger, it's great. If you're experienced and looking to add something a little different to your already vast collection of paddles, crops, whips, and floggers, it's great! It's pretty much great for everyone (especially we masochists and sadists)! It can provide a range of sensations, if one learns how to use it to its full advantage :) From tantalizing tickles to sharp smacks.
Despite the fact that I thought it would be rather stingy due to the thin cords of rubber, it's actually not quite as sharp, since there is a large quantity of them packed in fairly close together. It's surprisingly thuddy. The tips have a little sting to them, but for the most part, the falls strike as one, in a thicker, more concentrated blow. It's a nice warm up toy. Gets your hiney heated up for heavier play. It is well-made and sturdy and very durable. It does start off with a slightly strong rubber smell, but some people like that! It has faded with time, which I was glad of since I'm more of a leather person myself. It is easy to clean if used on the areas of the body that are more prone to...er...dampness, shall we say? Just a rinse and hang it up to dry.
The only downside I know of is that it tangles easily if not stored properly and becomes a ratty mess that you have to kind of "brush out" with your fingers. I keep mine in a toy bag, rather than hanging up, so this was an obstacle for me. It can be remedied quite simply by laying the falls out neatly and then wrapping hair ties or rubber bands about the bundle, just two or three along the length of it, to keep it all tidy and organized. Another thing I've noticed is that, depending on your grip, the plastic tube around the handle has the potential to pinch the side of your palm between the end of the tube and the plastic ball, if you hold it in just such a way. This seems to be easily avoided, but then...I spend more time on the receiving end of it, quite honestly ;)
My partner in crime would like to note that the wrist strap is a thoughtful addition, but not really necessary and that it actually got in the way a few times when he was using it. The grip, he claims, was just fine without the wrist strap and he never felt his hold on it slip. He also notes that it is "a bit heavy on the front end, but overall a good flogger". (I didn't know what that meant exactly, as I'm a submissive and a masochist and don't partake much in the dishing out of pain, so I asked him to elaborate. Apparently, balance is important in a flogger and helps with accuracy! It can also tire one's wrist more quickly if there's a need to compensate for the balance.) [Thank You, W Sir, for the input and perspective!]
Personally, while this is not my favorite toy (since I prefer more sting and more leather) it is definitely a worthwhile addition and a total keeper :)
Remember to always practice and learn your tools before using them on another. Learn where to hit and how. Be safe and have fun! :)

This thing is an ever lovin' classic. I have moved on to bigger and better things when it comes to impact play, but I still enjoy the familiar feel of my very first flogger. It can play to a large range of sensations that have never gotten old.
