I wanted something light and easy to travel with, and they're great for that. They also make an awesome starter set, since they're light, easy to put on and take off, and not intimidating. The adjustable distance between the cuffs also lets you hold your partner's arms together or wrap them around something. The straps are durable and will hold your partner for as long as they want to be held (again, awesome for people just starting out and who aren't sure about bondage).

These cuffs are designed like most handcuffs, with 2 cuffs connected via a nylon strap that is broken into two by a snap buckle. The strap was solid and it holds up nicely to tugging. In terms of effectively holding your partner, the results are a bit more mixed. They will hold up to someone pulling or trying to force their way out. However, the buckle and the Velcro strap do make it easy for someone to get out of. This can be beneficial with a new partner who wants to be able to back out if necessary.

In terms of comfort and leaving marks, the cuffs perform wonderfully. The cuff portion is made of softer padded polyester, which is more comfortable and doesn't chafe. The cuffs can be set to any size with the Velcro, so you can put them on any wrist size.

I bought them for travel, and they do an excellent job of rolling up into a suitcase. You can easily pack them into a suitcase without worrying that anyone would notice them.

Measurement breakdown:
Strap/Tether – 10 1/2 inches for the long side (adjustable with buckle) and 1 inch for the short side.
Cuffs – 9 inches around, 2 inches from top to bottom.
Velcro – 3 1/2 strap to allow for easy sizing adjustment

This is an awesome set and definitely worth buying if you want to try bondage or have a lightweight set to travel with. In terms of holding capability, they can keep your partner detained if they want to be (the Velcro and the buckle both allow easy escape). Moving and tugging doesn't get you out though, which is quite nice.

The fact that the distance between the cuffs can be adjusted means you can have arms together or spaced out. With them spaced out, you can easily cuff your partner to a post.

The one major safety note is that, like most cuffs that don't explicitly say so, it's not a suspension set. Otherwise, have fun.

Just rinse them off and they're good to go. They don't pick up anything or need any special care, which is handy.
