I wanted this collar mainly because I already have the vegan jaguar wrist cuffs, and I love those to death. After two years, my cuffs are still in like-new condition, and I wear them a lot during sex and even to bed. I was so impressed with the way they were holding up, that of course I wanted the matching collar.

Who will this collar be good for? Really, anyone who is looking for a collar will find this one to be just delightful. It locks, it is made from high quality materials, and it even has an O ring. Beginners through advanced users will both find this collar to be more than adequate.

This collar is 20" long, and will comfortably close from 13" to 17". It is 1.5" in width and similar to a posture collar, prevents a bit of movement. It is not a posture collar, however, so please be aware of this before you purchase it.

I have a 12" neck, and I find that while this fits comfortably, I do wish that it was a bit more snug. Unfortunately, there is not enough room between the last grommit and the first notch to be able to punch another hole in the collar. It still is comfortable for play.

The Vegan Jaguar Collar is not made of leather, but rather, a vegan leather. While it is made with no animal products, I think that even omnivores will be able to enjoy the gorgeous red color, and the beautiful craftsmanship. I own many leather and PVC collars and this collar performs just as well (and sometimes better) as any that I own or have owned.

If you're looking for a locking collar, look no further. This one is made with three layers of vegan leather, and is sturdy enough for your most intense kinky scenes. If you have a leash that will attach to the thick O ring on the front of this, no amount of pulling is going to damage your collar in the slightest. I wasn't the least bit surprised by this as I have the matching cuff set, and for about two years now they haven't shown the least bit of wear (other than molding to my wrist more comfortably as time has gone on). For any scenario that you would wear a leather collar, this one will work beautifully.

The only thing I might caution against is that this collar is very wide. If you're looking for something discreet, this collar may not be up to the task. If you're wearing this out in public, it is definitely going to get you noticed.

According to the tag that came with this, the best way to care for it is to use a very barely damp rag if you happen to get it dirty. Vegan leather does not hold up to leather very well. Vegan leather is porus, so unless you're fluid bonded with someone, I highly recommend not sharing it.

I store mine in a bin with other leather restraints. You could easily store yours in a sock drawer or backpack with no problems.

The Vegan Jaguar Collar came just in a plastic see-through bag with a small tag attached to the metal buckle. It simply tells you how to clean it and the brand name.

While this item is not leather, it does smell like it. This is likely due to the dyes they use on it in the creation process. I cannot be 100% sure why vegan leather has a "real leather" smell to it, but this along with my other vegan leather cuffs from Aslan Leather all smell like leather. If you are the type of person who loves the scent of leather, then worry not!
