I was so, so, SO excited to give this a shot after seeing one of these babies in person and thinking it looked like the coolest thing ever. My boyfriend and I have never really tried too much in the way of BDSM/roughness, light or otherwise, with the exception of some light choking every so often ;) I found this to be a great beginner's step, non-threatening and fun with just the right amount of bite behind it.

I picked this pinwheel over the other one Eden carries after reading some of the reviews of each; this one seemed to be considerably higher-quality and sharper, and isn't that the...*point?* Though I liked that the other model had a shorter handle, I didn't like that it was plastic and therefore breakable.

The sensation is wonderful, and depending where on the body it's used, has varying intensity levels. I found that on my stomach and thighs, it felt a bit sharper and almost knife-like, while on my arms it was more of a gentle scratch. Mmm.
My boyfriend says it "just feels cool," and explained that as a sharp tingling sensation. He's always enjoyed it when I scratched him, so now with this I can make sure he feels that sensation no matter what position we're in!

Packaging: The packaging on this one surprised me quite a bit. It arrived in just a long, thin Ziploc bag...No box, no tag, no anything to it, just a Ziploc bag somewhat ripped up from the spokes. This is just fine, but it would have been kind of cool to see a bag or box with some fun semi-kinky pictures on it. Oh well.

Appearance: Long and slender, this pinwheel is gorgeous high-polish metal. The handle has grooves to keep it from slipping from your hand, which are a great feature as sometimes, your hands can get a bit shaky...The only real issue is the length. It's just a little bit too long, making for sometimes awkward hand movements and angles. I guess it's better that it's a little too long than a little too short, though, as you can always just put your hand a little farther up the handle.

Quality: This pinwheel is a great piece at a great price. For around $10 with your 30% discount, you get a sharp but safe tool that I know I can use for many years to come. I wonder if the spokes will ever need sharpening?

Overall thoughts: I love this new toy! While it certainly doesn't make sex MORE enjoyable, it does make it different, and that's always fun, right?!? Gotta keep things fresh, new, and interesting!

I firmly stand by what I said about this being a great value. It's a fun little toy to mix things up with! Still love it, and that won't change!
