The Yin Wang Anal Beads are best used by those who have tried anal plugs or beads before, as some of the larger beads would be too large for those who are inexperienced (but not for those who are looking for something with a lot of girth). The toy is shaped like standard anal beads would be, along with a more unique ring at the top to hold on to. The ring is shaped to look like a yin yang symbol, but rather than black and white, as the display photo appears, it is actually black with the "white" part cut out, so that you can slip your fingers inside to hold on. The toy has 6 beads, starting off small and working their way up to the larger beads. The toy is about 9" in total length, and the beads range from 1 1/4" to 3 1/2" around. The ring is 1 1/2" around, so it will easily allow a couple of fingers to slip in for grip.

The majority of the toy is fairly flexible, which is good because it will contour to your body, but also makes it more of a challenge to insert as it wants to bend while you are doing so. The best way to insert it is to hold on to one of the beads closest to the tip and insert it by moving your fingers up, one bead at a time, as you insert them. This will give you more leverage with the toy.

This toy works like your standard anal beads: very simple and easy to use. The disadvantages of the toy mainly come from the extremely flexible design and, though the ring is wide enough for most to get a couple of fingers in, if you have larger fingers you may have difficulty slipping just one inside the ring. Measuring the circumference of your fingers and subtracting slightly for the black part of the ring, which is flexible but not as much as the rest of the toy, would be recommended. It performs very well for its intended purpose, is easy to clean and maintain, and does what it promises, making this a decent buy.

Silicone is very easy to care for, making this toy a breeze to clean. You can sterilize it with a 10% bleach solution, by boiling, or cleaning with your standard toy cleaner, alcohol wipes, or warm water and soap. It dries very quickly, so you don't have to worry about a long process. It is very easy to store, though keeping it inside of a pouch or toy box, where it won't touch other silicone toys, is best. It does pick up animal hair, lint, dust, and such. If you plan to put it away more quickly, you can also dry this toy off with a towel so that dust and fur don't have time to collect on it while it dries.

As was mentioned before, a water-based lubricant is safest with this toy to avoid any interactions between the toy and the lubricant itself. Because of the texture, a fair amount should be used so as not to cause discomfort during use.

This toy was not the first set of beads I have used, and comparing them to the silicone X-10 beads, there were some things I liked more about both. I did like the flexibility of these beads more, but the X-10 was easier to insert. The material was a lot smoother and more comfortable for these beads, but the handle on the X-10 was easier to grasp. There were pros and cons to this toy, but overall I was satisfied. I suppose that is what makes the referenced name of this toy apply to it even more! You get both sides when it comes to this toy!
