Who invited the bumps?
A defined head and smooth silicone make for great insertion, but the nubs on top drag inside causing some discomfort. This is perfectly sized for beginners (or anyone who isn't a size queen), and it's a toy that's worth it, as long as you don't mind a bumpy texture.

Pros
Perfect size for a first strap-on experience!
Cons
BUMPS!
Harness compatibility, quality silicone, and the perfect size make for one fun ride. However, the nubs are crashing this party and can I just say, "Ow"? But first, the good:
I love the defined head and gentle curve of the toy. While firm, it's smooth on the surface and glides right in. For beginners (or those who like standard sizes), it's the perfect dildo. The suction cup base and waterproofness make it steady to use in the shower, or anywhere you're playing solo. As a couple, it's great, too; it fits perfectly in our RodeoH harness and is just the right circumference/length/weight for optimal thrusting without dragging down the harness. It's also slender enough that it should be O-ring compatible as well.
For my first strap-on experience, this really was the right size. The more I used it, I did want something more substantial (thickness wise), but it still gets the job done. I also appreciate the ease of cleaning this toy (it's dishwasher safe, or I can boil it). As I mentioned earlier, the thicker, defined head makes for a good insertion experience. This dildo is appropriately named and of all my toys, this is my favorite to ride. The shape just works well.
I also love that this isn't realistic. As a lesbian, I love penetration and appreciate a thicker head, but I don't like dildos that look like realistic, chopped-off anatomy. This is perfect! There are no vibrating parts, but I usually will use a small vibe on my clit when I want to finish, so I can get the dual sensation.
Now for the bad: I really don't like the nubs. If rubbing externally (a little foreplay, anyone?), those little knobs are fine. However, insertion can become painful when the bumps are involved. The little nubs catch and drag when thrusting. So, rather than being a massage to the G-spot, it feels like my insides are being dragged on a hook. It hurts, and it's a definite mood killer.
The other downside is that while firm and not too long, the positions for strap-on use are a little limited. Since it's short and not very bendy, I found it works great for missionary, or when I'm riding it, but it doesn't work so well from the side, or in other positions.

You know...if you felt like a little experimenting would be OK, you could shave off the bumps with a razor blade. As long as the toy is solid silicone, there should be no problem. Granted, the surface will then be less than perfect, but at least it might be better than those damn bumps! However, trying the surgery on it would maybe be better than an unused toy, or worse, tossing it. Now, I don't know if your partner can use this with no problem, so that would definitely be a reason to leave it alone.
As for lube it doesn't help the bumps. Oh how we tried! It does of course make insertion easier but the nubs still catch/scrape, which is just a bummer.
