Whether you are into pony play or just want to try a different dildo with a little flair, be ready for the Kentucky Derby if you are going for the Colt Stallion Tail smooth. The Colt Stallion Tail is a full-size toy and much more than just a butt plug with a tail. I would not recommend it for beginners, and if you want to fully seat it in your back door, lots of lube and a gentle touch are a must.

The Colt Stallion Tail's box says it is a Phthalate-fee PVC probe with a rubber whip. It didn't smell bad coming out of the box, but there was a mild PVC and rubber smell, and it was smooth to the touch overall. The top 2/3 of the toy is firm but not totally solid and the bottom 1/3, where the tail/whip attaches, is more pliable. The only edge or seam on the toy is at its base, where the tail attaches. Other than that, there were no rough or sharp edges that I was worried about.

The design is good but it is longer than I could handle. The probe (dildo, if you will) is 7 inches long and has three "segments." The top segment is 1-1/2 inches long and 5 inches in circumference. The main segment is about 4 inches long and 5-1/2 inches in circumference. The bottom segment is 1-1/2 inches long and 5 inches in circumference. With these dimensions, I consider this a full-size dildo for the back door. I've had partners who aren't that big (and I had more fun with them too).

The box said the tail was 11 inches long; however, the tail on mine measured a full 23 inches long! The tail didn't affect anything and I think the toy is better with a longer tail/whip. If it were only 11 inches, it would be a tail; at 23 inches, it can be a tail and a whip!

While I had great hopes for this toy, my back door stable was not ready for the Colt Stallion Tail. When it comes to sex, I rarely bottom and this stallion did not fit in my barn. I was plenty relaxed and used more than enough lube so it wasn't a case of stage fright; this toy was just too big for me. Whether it is to look your best during pony play or just for some tough love taps from the 23-inch tail, if the toy doesn't fit, it is time to quit.

If it was 1 or 2 inches shorter, it would have been great. It wasn't going where I thought it was supposed to go, and I am not the type that forces things in back there.

I used some anti-bacterial soap and this toy seemed to clean up very well. Once it is dry, it can be stored in its box, but there is no true storage that comes with it as delivered.

The toy was packaged in a rectangular, thin cardboard box. Inside the box it was wrapped in a typical plastic bag.

With one goal of pony/horse play being the tail not falling out... this show judge can't give the Colt Stallion Tail great marks. The toy was well made and simple to use, but if it doesn't fit you can't have much fun with it. I admit I can't handle a big stallion in my back-door stable, so if they ever make a smaller version, I will give it a try.
