I first used this expanding dolphin plug in a pretty straightforward manner. I lubed it up and slid it all the way in, then got to work expanding and (slowly) filling myself up with it. Once feeling some pressure I would wait a bit before inflating it more. This is where knowing how much ‘pressure’ is safe for you to feel in there is important for safety - so once I felt stretched and good pressure but not overly intense pressure, I was feeling good! I love the full feeling from large plugs, and this is a little easier to get there without having to work up through the incremental sizes for each session. Then - I remembered this plug didn’t just inflate but vibrates too! Not expecting too much power, especially with it inflated, to my very pleasant surprise, I turned on the vibrations and felt it quite strongly. Not long with this fullness inside my hole and vibrations sending waves of pleasure through me, I was - filled with pleasure and came shortly after that!



That wasn’t really much of a gaping or cheek-spreading event, and as I discuss further in the review, it isn’t recommended to ‘push’ out the plug when inflated to gape that way. After some thought, I decided to next try the plug just partially inserted (about halfway) to see if it would start gaping open my hole that way, or spreading my cheeks. Now, this is where the deceptively cute dolphin starts acting more like a killer whale. With each pump, the dolphin’s mouth spreading open and prying my hole open along with it! It was not a matter of how much the toy could expand, rather how much I could have my hole expanded by it! Definitely a way to work on a gape with a single expanding toy. As for cheek spreading, by inserting just the tip of the plug then pumping it up, it will spread your cheeks - probably best for a visual treat for a partner, doesn’t do much for yourself in my opinion.

This plug is smooth silicone, and when deflated the plug is a bit soft and squishy. This can make it slightly more difficult to insert, have to hold the ‘mouth’ closed and push it in. Soft enough that once you get the start pushed in the rest can be pushed in easily enough! The plug firms up slightly but can still be squeezed a little when inflated partially or fully. Of course, when inside you don’t feel the firmness as much but moreso increasing pressure inside when inflating it.

The dolphin/fish design of this plug is really cute (even deceptively so!) and unique, as well as the expanding anchor design compared to the typical balloon shape inflatable plugs. While the uninflated size is small enough for most people to be able to use, I’d be cautious if not yet experienced or know the feelings in your butt well! As you can potentially inflate and stretch more than you are ready for with it expanding inside the hole (rather than having to take the full bulb size through your hole - where you’d be able to tell easier if you aren’t ready for the size yet. But(t), if you are more familiar with how much ‘pressure’ internally you can safely stretch to, you should be golden! Either way main thing is don’t inflate too fast, giving the body time to expand to it.

Now, the real magic of the opening mouth design I found was not with it fully inserted, but when partially inserting it to work on gaping your hole. When partially inserted and pumped up to inflate the plug, the opening mouth design forces it to start opening up your hole!
That’s the genius compared to the typical balloon/spherical inflatable plugs, where if you partially insert those, the only part that inflates is the part fully inside or outside your hole and those don’t really expand your hole.



When deflated, the plug is around 3" insertable length and 1.5" x 1.5" wide. When fully inflated it is still around 3" insertable length but goes up to 2" x 5.5" wide!

The pump bulb and quick-release valve are similar to other kinds of inflatable plugs that have those. The tube does come from the bottom of the base rather than the side (at the neck near the base) that I’ve seen before with a few inflatable plugs. While that other design would be ideal to allow you to easily sit with the plug in, not a deal breaker by any means especially if you are planning to use this plug while laying down, etc. The opening mouth design also helps in letting the plug deflate more uniformly, compared to a different inflatable plug I have that may deflate too much on one side and get 'stuck' on the rigid core of the plug.

While holding the plug in your hand, it looks like it inflates quite a bit when free to expand, but when inside of you I’m sure it is not expanding as much as you have the internal pressure against it. Great to get a full feeling without having to expand your hole as much or work up in plug sizes, but again, be careful not to inflate it too much or too fast for what inside your hole can handle! The vibration intensity was surprisingly strong, especially since my main interest was in the inflating/hole spreading design of this unique plug! Even while inflated inside, there’s no ignoring the strong vibrations that make for a great feeling combined with that fullness pressure.

As for the gaping or cheek spreading, it wasn’t immediately obvious for the product how to do that. The product manual recommends NOT to push out the plug while it’s inflated, this is probably due to risk of hurting your hole if it’s not ready to push out the size, and risk of bursting the toy’s bubble so to speak. However, at your own risk you can do some pushing out while inflated a bit and that would give a bit more of a gape. The less obvious way but best way I found to use this inflatable cheek spreader plug to spread open my hole (or cheeks), was as I mentioned only inserting it partially (about halfway) then pumping the bulb to expand it. For opening up my hole this way the plug performed very well, as it was about how much I could handle my hole being opened by the toy - not limitations of the toy’s expansion!

For the vibrating function, the plug is recharged with one of the typical pin type charging cables (comes included). The power button lights up when charging.

The shape of the plug and opening mouth does require a bit more care to clean and with the tube and bulb, handling all that during cleaning, but all being silicone still cleans well with soap and water.

For storage, I just store in a drawer next to (but not touching) other silicone toys. Main thing to avoid is storing it touching any toys that may degrade the silicone (such as jelly, PVC, TPE, etc. toys).

The plug comes packaged in a sealed plastic bag that includes the plug, a brief product manual, and the charging cord.
