The Prock Prostate pleaser
The Prock vibrating prostate massager provides nice all-around stimulation for the prostate, anus, perianal area, and testicles. The soft silicone is comfortable, safe, and easy to clean up, and the vibrating bullet is removable, waterproof, and powerful enough for good stimulation. While it slips out easily, positions can be found that hold it in place and make it a very comfortable and pleasant toy

Pros
Pleasantly strong vibrations at the prostate and anus. Waterproof silicone construction
Cons
Slips out easily.
California Exotic has been slowly introducing silicone toys to their lineup, and I have been given the privilege of testing their new Prock silicone prostate massager/vibrator.
The Prock is a slightly different design from the other prostate massagers that I have seen, a soft silicone “U” with one arm contoured to press against the prostate and the other arm contacting the perineum region. The forward arm is flattened and designed so that the scrotum rests over it during use, giving mild stimulation to the testicles. There was a visible line on the Prock from where the molds joined, but it wasn't noticeable during use. As the only purpose-built prostate massager I have used up to now is the Aneros Progasm, I was interested to try out this design.
My first try with the Prock didn't last long. I inserted it, turned it on, and relaxed – and the Prock quickly spun around and fell out. A second try holding it in with my hands worked better, but using the Prock in this way left me few options to play with my wife. When I was able to maneuver myself so that I was sitting in a chair with the Prock braced against the seat it worked the best of all. I was concerned at first, as the on/off button was resting against the chair seat, but there is a ridge of plastic around the power button that kept it from being turned off unexpectedly. The seated position was by far the best, the tip of the Prock was nestled firmly against my prostate, discharging the vibrations where they mattered most. The downside was that the chair dampened the vibrations of the front arm, so there was less stimulation of the root of my penis and scrotum in this position, but it was a fair trade.
When fully inserted the vibrator of the Prock is at a good location, just inside the anus. Vibrations at the prostate end are reasonably strong, and the silicone carries the vibrations to the other end (which California Exotics terms the “testicular cup”) well enough. Even so, you may want to replace the bullet with a stronger vibrator – and since the vibrator is removable this is an easy task (the removable vibrator also makes cleanup easy). The Prock is reasonably quiet, the sound level during use was comparable to the sound made by a desktop computer.
I sat like this, Prock tip buried in my prostate and my testicles caressed by the forward arm, for about 12 minutes when I noticed the Prock getting a bit warm at the vibrator sleeve. The packaging didn't indicate a recommended duty cycle of time on – time off, but when I pulled the vibrator out I noticed it was warm to the touch. At that point I decided to move on to other toys, just in case a prolonged session might damage the vibrator.
Cleanup was easy, the vibrator pops out and the silicone body of the toy can be cleaned and sterilized by many ways. I wasn't concerned during play, either – the vibrator has gaskets to make it waterproof, so an accidental wetting won't damage it.
I found the Prock to be a nice toy, the only major problem is its reluctance to stay in place on its own. Held in place, it delivered very pleasant stimulation, and I plan to use it again.

Follow-up commentary
40 months after original review
I used the Prock for a while, but then it started to fall out of favor and kept spending more and more time in the toybox, until finally I purged it. The big reason I stopped using it was that it doesn't stay in on its own. While the stimulation was pretty good, having to hold it in or sit on it just right was frustrating. When I got a vibrating prostate massager that stayed in place it just wasn't worth bothering with anymore.

The more I use it the more I wish it stayed in better - it's a little limiting to have to have something holding it in all the time, but it's got good vibration and is definitely reasonably priced.
Regarding the lube I can think of two possibilities. Firstly, the Prock doesn't really move in and out during use, so water-based lube should work OK - the llube on the outside will wash off, but the inside should still stay lubed. The other possibility would be an oil-based lube like ID Cream - [https://www.edenfantasys.com/sex-toys-for-men/jack-off-lubes/id-cream-lubricant]
It will work just fine anally (keep it away from vaginas, though).
