Colt the prowler is a solid and strong vibrator that, once you take hold of its ample handle, makes you realize it means business. It is not subtle by any means. I chose the red, which is a vibrant and pleasant shade that I enjoy seeing come at me, and makes it even less subtle. Upon turning it on, which is easily done with a twist of the dial knob at the base of the handle, you can feel the vibrations running through your hand, especially if you turn the dial all the way up. The strength of those vibrations are just as easily customizable with a twist of the dial. There are no defined levels, but rather a gradual rise in vibrations, and this allows you to find the strength you want. I personally just go right to the maximum vibration and use it for anal stimulation. It is also great for stimulation of the perineum (the spot between the scrotum and anus or the spot between the vagina and anus). It could also be used for clitoral stimulation, which is comparable to the vibrations of wand massager that my partner uses, or on the breasts and nipples.


Its 6 inch insertable shaft has a smooth texture with no seams, which makes insertion comfortable and easy. I would recommend using lubrication for anal insertion, as with all anal play, and for vaginal play. Colt the prowler is completely rigid and I found myself having to angle it to get stimulation where I wanted. It has a diameter of 1 and 1/2 inch. This may be big enough for some. But I like it bigger. To increase girth I attach a penis sleeve, transforming the Colt into the role of a bullet. It allows me to get a more full feeling, while maintaining the strong vibrations. As an alternative, given my enjoyment of a fuller feeling, I insert the Colt with another vibrator or dildo or anal toy, which I would only recommend in stages and with much lubrication and experience.

Colt the prowler is made of a smooth, sturdy, rigid and non-porous plastic, that can be enjoyed by anyone. There is no texture and there is no odor or seams along the 6 inch insertable shaft. The rigid nature of the Colt does not allow any for any manipulation, other than you positioning it differently.

Colt the prowler has a length of 6 and 1/4 inch, with a 6 inch insertable length, circumference of 4 and 1/4 inches, and 1 and 1/2 inch diameter. It is made of a an easily cleanable sturdy, strong plastic. It is completely smooth, until you come to a slight ridge just before the twist off handle, where you open it to insert the 3 AA batteries.


Given the smooth and straight nature of the shaft, it will not stay inside on its own. It easily slips out.

I am a "size king" and while it has good vibrations, the 1 and 1/2 inch diameter was not large enough for me. To make up for it I either added a sleeve or inserted another item at the same time. But this is only for those who have experience and use lubrication.

Colt the prowler function generally as expected. The dial control at the base of the vibrator is easily used, allowing for quick adjustments. It has strong vibrations that you can feel throughout the shaft and even into the handle. It is one of the strongest bullet-like vibrators I have ever used, though some of the massagers I have gotten from Eden Fantasys have been stronger. But the Colt's strength is very good.


It has a moderate buzz.


It is safely used in water, as I submerged it in the bathtub and used it many a time.


It requires 3 AA batteries. I could not easily find any directions as to which end of the battery went in first, but that was not a big issue. If it didn't work, I just turned the batteries around. For the life of me I can't remember which direction it is now.


The main dislike was the diameter, but I cannot really count that against the product because I clearly knew it when I bought it, with the hope the vibrations would be that good that the size wouldn't matter. But, in my case, size does matter. It it probably the only thing that keeps me from calling it an "Awesome" or "Earth shattering" vibrator, rather than just a "Great" Vibrator.

Colt the Prowler is smooth plastic, that is a food-grade material, hypo-allergenic, latex free, non-porous and phthalates free. It is easily cleaned with soap and water or your favorite toy cleaner. The smooth texture is virtually friction free, making it that much easier to clean. I would not boil it or put it in the dishwasher, but it is so easily cleaned I don't think it would be necessary. I store it in my toys box, not really wrapped in anything. The size is not discreet, so this must be considered when storing. It seems a very sturdy toys, but I wouldn't put anything heavy on top of it.
