Not designed for you honey pot, but still fun to use! The smaller diameter is great for the inexperienced or people who have only played around back there a few times. For the more regular backdoor players, the Dipper is a good warm up for your larger toys.
As I'm staring at this box, I'm wondering: "Long term wear or during sex only".
The only conclusion I can come up with is: it's up to you!
I'm not one to walk about with a plug rock'n away downstairs. I'm too absent minded and flighty to commit to it. If you are that kind of person, have at it! The ball at the end of the plug might not fit comfortably, but you can determine that on your own.
The Dipper is almost the total length of my hand and about as thick as two of my fingers at its thickest part (I'm a slightly taller/thicker guy than average). Just to be safe though, I'd recommend trying a string around it or something before insertion.
100% Premium Silky Smooth Silicone... one of my favorite materials for any sex toy; apply your favorite thick water-based lube and have fun!
If you haven't used a silicone toy before, be aware that they attract lint from the surrounding... everything. To prevent excess lint build up on the Dipper, wash it first and then don't set it down without toy wipes handy.
Silicone is a great material for sex toys; in this case, it works quite well. The Dipper is VERY flexible and pretty solid.
Dipper is shaped like a honey-dipper you might see in a honey pot (that stick thingy with the funny looking end). The ridges don't really stick out that far, just far enough for me to notice, really. The sensation was singular, unique.
The ridges also serve a double purpose by keeping it in place without losing it. Regardless, I still kept a firm grip on the ball at the end (when I could). This isn't a design for the newbie, but I wouldn't suggest them off of it. It's very intense and unique.
I was a little let down in the size department. This is probably the smallest plug in my collection and will probably end up on my girlfriend's side of the drawer. I'm sure she'll enjoy it.
I read another review that stated the seam was too noticeable and made use unpleasant. I didn't find this to be the case at all. The nice thing about silicone though, is that it is easily trimmed if you need to go that route.
I was very surprised by how much I liked the ridges of the Dipper. I loved that I could go slow and feel each and every ridge.
What I didn't care that much for was how hard it was to remove! The ridges really lock it in there. It was almost like trying to pry out a screw instead of unscrewing it.
Since the Dipper is "100% Ultra-Premium Platinum Silicone", meaning you can clean it a few different ways: anti-bacterial soap/water, boil it, bleach with 10% solution, dishwasher (top shelf), and maybe a few other ways I can't think of now.
If you can't remember how to clean a toy, Tantus has included their web addresson the package to help you out.
Now, it should also be noted that some user of Tantus products say that the silicone used by Tantus in its line of toys is so pure that you CAN use silicone lube with it. I wouldn't recommend it, just because I wouldn't want to risk any unfortunate effects. If you want to try it though, apply a dab in an inconspicuous spot on the toy and watch for a reaction. Use your best judgment from there; remember, you bought it with your money.
The Dipper comes in a rectangular clear plastic case, toy safely inside. The Tantus packaging is unique in design and is more informative that other packaging I've seen. It can be a little tricky to get open, be patient.
Go slow with the Dipper! If you try to pull it out too fast... or do anything fast with it, you could potentially come up with a mess without proper prep back there.
I used the Dipper as a prep for some of my larger anal plugs/toys. It worked quite well because it loosened me up and relaxed me for some larger toys.
Follow-up commentaryI still like it16 months after original review
I still like to use this product, but I've found that it's more for beginners and intermediate users. It's just a bit too small and textured for my own liking now.
I'd still recommend it to people if asked.

This design is very visually appealing. I may have to pick one up for myself!!

If this fits into your comfort zone, Adam, go ahead! I think it's a good product.

This looks fun - I'm just not sure about those ridges.

Very nice review!

I had a hunch this thing would lend itself to a little mess if you weren't careful. The ridges, I don't know. I'm still not sold on them but I really think the general shape of this is beautiful. Great review!

PS. I loved this tag: "Anyone with an anus". It made me smile

Have you tried it during partner sex, and how does it feel for you when your girl is wearing it? None of the reviews mentions it, and I'm really curious about it.
El-Jaro
Actually, I don't mess with anal stimulation on myself during intercourse. Also, since I'm not too comfortable with the design of the toy, I don't want to be distracted when using it.
Kynky Kytty
I meant if you felt it during vaginal penetration if your girlfriend is wearing it anally, but you may not be in DP stimulation.
El-Jaro
No, we didn't use it that way. I like the idea though

The ridges on this always seemed uncomfortable on first sight, but I'm kind of reconsidering now...
In any case, thank you for the review. I wonder if anyone uses this for honey?

Thanks for including the note regarding removal. I tend to have a bit of difficulty in that department even with toys that are a less interesting shape, so I found that very helpful.
