I recently got another Luxotiq piece -- which, btw, is just as good as this one -- and had to do a follow up to comment that not only has this one held up well (as is expected of glass) and remained a favorite but used along with the equally beautiful Hera creates an AMAZING set of sensations. Both cold but quick to warm, both firm, glass stimulating from all directions...

Just how real do you feel the risk of fracture at the bottom neck is? I imagine the smaller size really helps better with retention, compared to the Tantus large Flirt, which would be a major point in its favour.
The small neck does make it very easy to keep it in; even being firm glass it's comfortable and stays put "just so".
I wouldn't worry too much about the Luxotiq breaking at the neck during use. If enough force were applied to do that there would, as Carrie Ann said, be other damage. Borosilicate is very strong, too, so unless it got nicked or scratched the Luxotiq should survive most ordinary household falls as well.
Carrie Ann- did you have any problems with the base during use? I found that sitting down (especially in sculpted chairs with a "scoop out" for your bottom) could get a bit uncomfortable after a while.
