So, this is my first Lelo toy. I am not really into most vibrators, so I never felt the need to really look into them for my own collection, but eventually in my search for anal toys (I am female bodied, but seem to enjoy the shape prostate toys better then others), I stumbled upon Bob.

Bob is intended as a probe for prostate stimulation. He can absolutely be used this was, but he can also be used for thrusting and for wear as a plug. For those with shallow g-spots, he can also be used as a g-spotting toy. I, alas, am not so lucky, so Bob is just for my butt, and I am ok with that.

Bob is also a perfect option if you are looking for something to travel with. He is small and easily hid in a purse or travel bag.

I was already in love with silicone. It's body safe and hypoallergenic. There are no carcinogen concerns about silicone. It's sterilizible. What more was there to love about silicone?

Bob taught what more there was.

Lelo's silicone blows all other silicones I have ever felt out of the water. My Sonic from Fun Factory is close, but even that feels cheap in comparison to Bob. It's sleek, velvety, silky, and oh so sexy all at once. I can't keep myself from just stroking the smooth lines of Bob.

For Bob, Lelo used a firm silicone which means that you aren't fighting to keep Bob straight during insertion, but there is still enough flex to it that Bob will mold to your body.

As with all silicones, this one doesn't have any odor or taste, nor does it retain any.

Bob is completely smooth except for the word Lelo on each side of the neck. This area is recessed. It is not really noticeable during wear, but stuff does accumulate there and needs extra attention during cleaning.

Calling Bob a Pleasure Object is actually a terribly accurate description. Unlike so many toys, he doesn't look like a penis, nor any other kind of human or animal anatomy. Bob does boast an ergonomic design that makes him slip in with no fuss or pain.

Bob is 5.5" long with 4" of that insertable. The ring base makes up the final 1.5" of length. At the widest, is just over 3.25" in circumference while he is 1.25" in circumference at the slimmest which is the neck. Bob stayed in fantastically despite his small size. His size is great for those just starting out with anal play, but I consider myself experienced, and he was amazing for me as well. He really has something to offer everyone!

Because Bob is so small and slim, he tucks quite discreetly into a purse or overnight bag. He never imposes!

I got the blue model, but he also is availible in red. The blue is deep and rich, so it almost appears black.

While I love anal play, my butt is always shy. It takes a warm up to get me to relax enough which is the precise reason I ordered Bob in the first place. Bob's sleek gradual shape never hurt and never stretched too much. He slips in easily and discreetly. He isn't filling, but I was still aware he was there.

During penetration, he moved subtly inside of me which sent me over the top. It may not be noticeable to everyone, so I won't make any promises.

Bob has a ring as a base, so he won't be stable in a harness and there is no suction cup, but the ring makes it terribly easy to thrust Bob.

The one downside to Bob is that, due to the thinness of his neck, he can be a bit bendy during insertion. I just held him higher up on the probe portion to get around the problem.

This is made from silicone, so it requires a certain amount of care. Silicone can only be used with water based lubricants. Additionally, silicone cannot be stored touching other types of toy materials like other silicones, TPR, UR3, etc.

As for cleaning, silicone can be sterilized by boiling it, putting it in the top rack of your dishwasher, or wiping it with a 10% bleach solution. If you just want to clean it, you can wash this in warm water with mild soap or toy cleaner. This wipes down very nicely, you will want to make sure and pay special attention to the embossed lettering because fluid can get trapped there.

Bob came in a very nice box that you can use for storage, or you can use the included bag for storing him in. I prefer the bag because I have a large collection and limited space, but the box is a perfectly suitable option as well.

I loved how classy the packaging was. First there was a black box. It's shiny. The front in just black with silver lettering that says Lelo on it. The sides say "Body safe FDA-approved Materials. Phthalate free silicone" in just about every language it seems. The back is white with a picture of Bob on it and a short product description.

Inside of the first box is another box. This one is much sturdier and could be used for storage. It is black as well with Lelo embossed on the lid. When you open the lid, there is a plastic guard over Bob. After removing that, you have Bob sitting in a very firm and solid plastic tray.

Underneath Bob and the tray There is the 1-year warranty booklet, the Authenticity card, a sample of Lelo water based lube, and the satin pouch.

I wouldn;t bat an eyelash about using the packaging for gift giving. It's super luxurious. It's thoughtful. It's easy to use. It's pretty much perfect.

If you seek vibrations with Bob, the looped handle is a great place to slip a bullet. Not all bullets will fit, but my High Intensity Bullet fit with a little room to spare while my Beaver Shot fit perfectly. The Beaver Shot has a circumference of 2.5" while the High Intensity comes in at 2.25", so you'll be looking at a bullet in that small range.
