Strong vibes, but big in the wrong way
Another great vibrating plug for your ass (and come on, who doesn't want good vibrations), but this one came up a little short, disappointing only for the incredibly wide and somewhat thick base. Overall, I enjoyed it a lot, and I think so long as he's not also doing you doggy style, then you'd be ok.

Pros
Great size, strong vibrations, easy to use button
Cons
Round base is a bit too thick and the circular base limits its use during sex
My last Risque plug experience didn't end so well. That was the 10-Function Risque vibrating anal plug (Check out the review on the 10-Function Risque), also by Cal Exotics. Thing ended sadly with a rusted battery compartment due to a lack of proper seal. The Flexi Risque, however, was a much better story.
Out of the box I was a little concerned. We're far from new when it comes to vibes in the ass, but for some reason the packaging made the Flexi Risque seem MUCH larger than it was described AND appeared on Eden. Once out of the package, it's still larger than most (though not all) of our plugs but not nearly as intimidating. (I'm all about a nice plug in the ass, but I'm not one for the real big guns) This plug is made of a semi-soft and generally smooth silicone (yay for Silicone toys!!), which makes for clean-up easy but beware when selecting a lube! (See Eden's guide to Silicone toys) Oddly enough, Eden's carried another Flexi Risque by Cal Exotics for quite some time (The Vibrating Probe that never appealed to me, I think mostly because of the bulbous shape. Both of these Flexi's share a very wide (and somewhat thick) flared base, which keeps the toy from disappearing during use. The Flexi Risque features a better prominent and easy to use push button at the center of the base, which is used to turn the toy and and then cycle through the ten different vibration patterns with ease (it doesn't take a lot to cycle the button, but it's slightly recessed so accidental manipulation of the button isn't likely). Holding it for three full seconds is required to turn it off, so you're not very likely to inadvertently shut of the vibration right when you want it's going strong! The same base twists open (clearly labeled with the direction to turn and position to open) to access the batteries, and as seen in the photo has both a nice snug o-ring for sealing this vibe up, and a vibration reducing pad to keep the batteries from moving around. Throw in three batteries (not included), line up the dots and twist closed, and you're ready to rumble!
The Flex prefers water based lubes (see the Silicone statement earlier), and we used the Probe Thick & Rich lube for testing it out. What I really enjoyed about this plug over the other Risque were the vibrations. This seems to have a strong and deeper vibration, which makes the vibrations travel further inside. It wasn't too much so that your ass suddenly tingles with a lack of feeling, but it definitely can be felt throughout. He even commented about how strong the vibrations were while using it during sex. Which leads me to my only minor issue with the plug... While I truly love the vibration and the size, the thickness of the base leaves something to be desired. We enjoy using the plug in the ass and still being able to have him penetrate me at the same time. The thick base is almost too thick and large around to be comfortable for this (this was the advantage of the 10-Function Risque, as the base was slightly elongated and would set in to your ass crack a bit more and be less obtrusive).
Our next attempt will be with the PicoBong Tano!

While I did (and still do) like this vibe, mostly for the fullness and strength of the vibrations, I just can't get past the size and thickness of the base. While I'll keep it, it probably won't get a lot of use.
