Great toy for everyone, for harness play, gspot/prostrate play or solo play all around. Perfect for people who prefer a slightly thinner toy, but may not be enough for those who love girth. Very low maintance care as well makes this toy very well rounded.
The Siren made by Pleasure Works is a very simple silicone dildo. Perfect for any gender, the Siren can be used with a partner with or without a strap-on as well as for solo play as well thanks to the very stable and wide base. The only downside base is those with small hands might find it hard to hold on to because of how wide it is.
It is also perfect for getting to your g-spot or prostrate with the slight curve it has and the bulb at the top which is very comfortable for stimulation to either spot. And the wide base at the bottom makes it safe for anal play as well.
Siren is made of 100% silicone, which rates a 10 on the material safety scale. Silicone is of course nontoxic, phthalates free, nonporous and hypollergenic. One may notice the slighty tacky texture that the toy has and worry that it is not 100% but I did put a small edge of it to the flame test and it came out fine. Plus when you use lubrication the tacky feeling goes away.
They toy is rather flexible, you can bend the toy so that the head touches the base but not to much further before meeting resistance. The sleek surface has a large amount of drag, so its best to use water based lubricant with it in order to lessen the friction against the skin.
The Siren has no texture, the all over feel of the toy is very sleek and smooth with no seams. The tip of the toy is firm enough that it is perfect for stimulating the G-spot or Prostrate.
The Siren starts with a tapered, slightly bulged head and makes a gradual increase in girth until you reach the base. Its not too bit and not too small, all at the same time making it very easy to insert with little to no warm up at all. The curve on the toy itself is not too pronounced comepared to some of the other toys that I have which are curved, but just enough that it makes it able to hit the g-spot/prostrate
The base is smooth, flat and can actually stick to smooth surfaces. In testing it out on different kinds of smooth surfaces I found that glass, tile and plastic seem to stick the best. While, wood on the other hand gets unstuck rather quickly. The base is large, which is great for anal play, but can get a little hard to hold if you have small hands. But the large base also offers stability in a harness so it is a clear up side there.
I found the overall shape to be not overly realistic but I wouldn't go as far to consider it artistic. If someone was looking at it they would clearly know that this is in fact a dildo, so not discreet either when it comes to the design.
Because it is made of Silicone, Siren is safe to not only boil but you can also put it into the top rack of your dishwasher for sterilization. For everyday cleaning you can use soap and warm water, your favorite toy cleaner/wipe, or a 10% bleach/90% water solution.
When it comes to lubrication I always highly recommend water based lubes with silicone toys, especially with the Siren as I found that it really helps to ease up on the drag that can be caused with the material against the skin. But if you prefer an oil based lube, then by all means that is totally safe as well. Just as always with silicone toys, do not use silicone based lubes as it can damage the toy.
As for storage, you seriously want to keep this one in some kind of packaging. The tacky texture of the silicone for some reason is even more of a lint magnet then any of my other toys made of silicone have been. I could use this one like a lint roller if I wanted. So keep it in a safe place and if you need to wipe it down before play.

Siren comes in a very simple and minimal packaging, just a paperboard box and inside a plastic bag containing the toy. There is nothing else inside the box, nor too much information on the box itself save for some small blurbs on the various sides of the box. Because the toy is right on the front of the box, at pretty much a 1:1 ratio in size this box is anything but discreet.
You can use the box or the bag inside for storage if you choose so that it an upside.
Follow-up commentaryI still like it2 months after original review
I am still loving this toy, the size and curve have been perfect not only for myself but my guy love using this one as well. I have also learned it seriously does work well in a harness now that I have one.
