Simply plug and play with a Cody
Cody satisfied my needs, and I believe it would satisfy most who enjoy using butt plugs. Mind the size, though, because sometimes our eyes can be bigger than our asses.

Pros
Matte surface takes lubricants well. Shape and size keep it in place. Easy to keep clean.
Cons
Not a good choice for a first-timer.
I’m always impressed with toys from Tantus. The company claims to be the industry leader in the production of nontoxic, healthy, and hypoallergenic adult toys, and it’s definitely first in my book. The Cody butt plug is the latest addition to my Tantus collection.
This is a fat, firm, and filling plug. It’s definitely not for the inexperienced aspirant. A diameter of 1-1/2 inches follows the tapered tip and quickly swells to 2 inches at the bulb. That’s a circumference of six inches! Insertable length is just less than 5 inches.
The dull black appearance and the mass of this toy immediately had me wondering if I could take it. As it turned out, I had to play with it several times before I was able to push it in all the way. Once it’s in, though, it stays put. I find that by the time I relax my ass enough to wrap around a good-sized toy, my whole body has relaxed. When I finish I usually feel energized. Be warned, the Cody requires an ample amount of lubrication. The matte surface takes lube a little better than the usual slick finish of most silicone toys. Never use silicone lubricants with silicone toys, though. The large base ensures there won’t be an embarrassing trip to the emergency room! This would probably be a good toy to use for loosening up before anal intercourse.
Like every toy in the Tantus line, the Cody is hand crafted of phthalate-free 100% Ultra-Premium Platinum Silicone. Silicone toys are odorless, tasteless, and easy to clean. They can be washed with antibacterial soap and water or a 10% bleach solution, boiled or tossed in the dishwasher. I often put mine in the washing machine along with clothes I’m washing in hot water. Incidentally, folks who like to buy American will be glad to know Tantus toys are made in the USA.

Experience
When I use a lube-thirsty anal toy such as the Cody butt plug|Cody - Butt plug by Tantus, I always lubricate myself as well as the toy. A well-lubed finger or two works, but an applicator filled with jelly or liquid lubricant works even better. Dryness is a pain in the ass.

Thank you for viewing Cody – butt plug review page!
No, I haven't tried long-term wear. Didn't occur to me. Thanks for your comment.
When I'm using a larger toy I find that the increased longevity of an oil-based lubricant is nice. You don't have to worry about the plug getting sticky and uncomfortable (especially during removal).
It looks like the Cody continues Tantus' (very good) tradition of making large plugs that have gradual tapers for both insertion and removal, something that is very much appreciated!
Yep, high efficiency detergent. Doesn't seem to do any harm. I'm in health care and I'm not comfortable putting anal toys in with my dishes. That's just me.
I'm gonna try Albolene next time.
