Redesign sinks this one to the ocean floor.
SSA Glass took a very interesting toy and updated it to "very boring." The changes from the pictured original are noticeable, both visually and tactilely, so I would recommend to anyone searching for a moderately priced glass toy to keep looking, unless the described changes are considered an improvement. Do not trust the pictures that are currently displayed.

Cons
Red bumps on the base are unappealing

If I'd fished this out of the ocean, I'd throw it back. I am so disappointed in this product!
It comes in a velvety bag, and has a nice weight: not too heavy, not too light. However, remove it from it's pouch and the first thing you'll see are the changes from the pictured product. The smooth bulbous head has been replaced by a smaller, more streamlined one with an exaggerated "eye." Perhaps this is a welcome change for backdoor use, but as a vaginal user, this was a disappointment.
Also gone: the veins! The ridges and realistic lines have been replaced by a single, straight ridge along the bottom, and three S-curves along each side. There's not much difference between the feel of the ridges and the smooth top, and the undetectable texture is a BIG disappointment. Texture was why I chose this toy, and it does not deliver. At least the overall curvature of the Ocean Breeze remains, making the shaft more comfortable to insert fully.
Moving down to the base, my first thought upon seeing it was, "I'm sure there's a cream for that." A mass of red bumps triggers "razor burn" or "STD" in my mind, so a definite thumbs down on the aesthetics. Unfortunately, the feel is no better. The bumps are unpronounced so rubbing against them is unsatisfying. However, the base does provide a handy-dandy grip as things become slippery. It's also useful for holding the shaft under a running tap to change the temperature.
Another plus: clean-up is a breeze. If there is one thing that sets all glass products apart, it's that it plays nice with any lube and cleans up super-quick. Just be sure to check it as you're cleaning. My Ocean Breeze has two tiny rough spots that I didn't see when I first sterilized it. They don't cause discomfort during use, however they'll need additional attention when cleaning in the future.
My expectations for the Ocean Breeze were high, and instead it sunk like a stone. I feel as though what I received doesn't match what I ordered. EF ought to update the product listing to accurately reflect the design changes. It won't save me my disappointment, but it would help future buyers.

Follow-up commentary
2 months after original review
Two months later and looking at this dildo still annoys me. Eden Fantasy updated the product views so future customers won't be taken by surprise, but I still feel duped. I would have chosen a different piece of glass to purchase had the pictures been accurate. But it's in my collection for the time being, so I felt compelled to give it another chance.
One of my original complaints was the lack of texture, however I've found that if I keep the bottle lubrication to a bare minimum it is more noticeable, i.e. pleasing to me. Not too big, not too small, its middle-of-the-road sizing makes it very versatile, and less intimidating for glass newbies. Its weathered a few turns in the microwave without problem, and the two rough spots on that glass that gave me concern haven't worsened. Overall it's holding up well, though take into account this toy gets very little use.
It probably seems like I should say "I've started to like it more," but the aesthetic of the current design is something I just can't get past. To me, it has all the sex appeal of a gaping Goblin Shark (YouTube Goblin Shark clip), which is to say, NONE. I expect it to just sit in my drawer until I find a toy recycling program or I can figure out how to camouflage it among the wine bottles and sauce jars that are put curbside once a week. For me, the Ocean Breeze remains filed under 'buyer's remorse.'

Thank you for viewing Ocean breeze – dildo discontinued review page!
Regarding the changes, some people might like them but EF really needs to update the pictures so new buyers aren't taken by surprise.
