The Iridescent Plug was created by Doc Johnson for anal stimulation and play. Because of its thin design this plug is ideal for a beginner to anal. The plug has a tapered bottom to keep it from slipping up into your rectum and getting lodged there; trips to the emergency room are never any fun. While the product's packaging does not state that the plug is waterproof, I found that I could use this toy in the shower with no issues. I'd call the product splash proof. I would not suggest submerging this toy underwater in a tub or a pool due to the way this toy is constructed. The product is made up of two different materials, polyvinyl chlorides (PVC) and Thermoplastic rubber (TPR). Because the outer shell and inner part of this toy are two separate materials; if water managed to get between the two materials, separation could occur and completely ruin your toy. This product is not designed to be worn for prolonged periods of time or for use in combination with vaginal stimulation as it slips easily in and out of the rectum. The feel of this plug is very smooth and doesn't offer any pulling or resistance upon entry or exit.

The Iridescent Plug is a simple small rubber plug. When I first opened the packaging I was over whelmed by the berry scent this product gave off. Ever after a thorough scrub with my anti-bacterial cleaner the scent still lingers, to the point that if I don't store this product in its packaging my whole room smells of it. The product is constructed of two materials PVC and TPR. Both of these products are common in many different toys. If you have an allergy to either substance steer clear of this product as its unclear which material coats the exterior. This is a porous material so if you plan on sharing this toy be sure to use condoms. Designed for a beginner to ease themselves into anal play this plug is very smooth and easy to slip in and out of the rectum. This plug is flexible enough to be bent in half when I used my hand but firm enough that it holds its shape and makes entry easy. I found the outer material to be much stiffer than the interior black structure, which could probably be split or pierced if it came into contract with any sharp objects (avoid bringing any of your toys near sharp objects). For me as a beginner this material was exactly what I was looking for and I found it very easy to manage.

When I first picked this toy up I was surprised to notice how heavy it was. I guess I was expecting this toy to feel very light weight because of its small size. The total weight of this toy is 0.3 lb which when I inserted it I can easily feel it. This product comes in three colors, purple, pink, and blue. All of them have a metallic shimmer to them and almost appear shiny. If you're new to the world of anal play this is a great toy to start with, as long as you don't mind the strong scent of berries.

This toy was created to introduce you to the world of anal play. If you're looking for a plug that will stay put during vaginal play or that you can wear outside of the house this toy probably won't suit your needs. For me who was looking for a toy that would begin to stretch me and allow me to begin to experience new sensations this was perfect. It didn't pull or tug on my skin and glided in and out with easy. I found that I had to hold the toy in place if I wished to keep it in me when using other toys (like my pocket rocket). For a newcomer to the world of anal play this was a very nice smooth introduction.
