The Tenticle Magic is made of 100% Silicone and is backed by the Manufacturer Guarantee. This toy is completely non porous. It still must be sterilized, but the build of the material is just right and it hardly collects any lint or dust. It is firm where the toy can be felt underneath and more squishy at the top bulb of the toy. The top portion of the Silicone is very flexible and can be rolled around for added stimulation after inserted. The silicone sleeve is covered with many different textures. Shapes include circles, hearts, and spike. All are soft but still noticeable.

Once the toy is inserted, the textures begin to disappear and aren't agitating at all. They do not drag inside. If the toy is then moved in and out, the textures can be felt and add more stimulation than the traditional smooth textured toy. The texture is not raised too much off the toy. Beginners and advanced users alike can enjoy it. It is just enough and not too much at the same time. If you do not like texture, I recommend getting a smooth surfaced toy.

The Tenticle Magic toy comes in one piece, but can be separated into two pieces; the silicone sleeve and a bullet. The bullet is 3 1/2" long. The end has a ring from holding onto during anal play. The ring did make gripping the toy very easy. I just placed one finger through it and it held tightly. The ring can be twisted to access the battery compartment. The compartment does have a silicone O ring and screws very tightly to prevent leaking during water play or cleaning. The silicone sleeve is very textured and has a decent sized bulb for the head. There are also 4 ridges horizontally across the toy. I personally did not notice them during play, but if you are very sensitive you may.

The entire length of the toy put together is 5 3/4" with an inserting length of about 4". The circumference of the bulb is 4 1/2" with a diameter of about 1 1/2". The shaft then drops down to a circumference of 3 1/2" and a diameter of 1". The 1/2" drop in girth works very well for stimulating anally and vaginally. The bulb of the toy can also be used to apply pressure to the G spot, but I do believe it is designed well enough for men to enjoy P spot targeting. The size of the toy overall is great for anyone who enjoys a smaller toy, a change in texture and size, and both beginners and advanced users. The toy does have a lot going on and is still non intimidating to new users. The toy comes with a velvet pouch to store discretely and makes it travel friendly. It will fit easily in any container, purse, or suitcase.

The Tenticle Magic is controlled by 1 N battery (two are included). The battery is inserted positive side down. Once the battery is inserted, screw the cap back on all the way. This turns on the toy. It does not have any dials or buttons to control vibrations. The battery must be removed when not in use. The vibration is medium. I prefer a more intense vibration, and was disappointed that I couldn't change the speed. The vibration is probably strong enough for must users but did not rock my world. Also, because it has no on/off switch, always remember to remove the battery and then twist the cap back on. The N batteries do last through extended use. I have gotten about 5 length uses out of one battery before I had to replace it.

The Tenticle Magic works very well in the tub or shower. The cap goes on very tightly and there is no leaking at all. Some water may collect between the bullet and sleeve. I recommend pulling them apart after use and standing the sleeve up so that all water can drain from it. The toy is a little harder to insert in the tub because the drag water causes. I apply a small amount of water lubricant to it and then put it right in.

The toy is really quiet. It can't be heard over a shower or through a closed door. Possibly not even through covers. It is extremely quiet. The Silicone sleeve filters most of the bullet noise out.

Silicone is completely body safe if cared for correctly. The best part about the Tenticle Magic is, the bullet can be removed. This allows the actual Silicone sleeve to be sanitized in the dishwasher or boiling water. The bullet is plastic and can be cleaned with warm water and either antibacterial soap, a toy cleaner, or alcohol. The toy is very easy to sanitize and knocks bacteria down making it more body friendly. The Silicone sleeve should be used with water based lubricant only and then stored separately to prevent damage to the toy. The velvet pouch it came with is a great way to prevent damage. Store it and go. The pouch is around 9" long and allows plenty of room to store the Tenticle Magic.

Packaged in a clear plastic container that flips open from the top. The packaging has a Try Me sample of the material on the front for store purchasing. Inside the package there is a cardboard insert with toy information. It includes specifics about the toy including battery installation, how to avoid leaking, material information, manufacturer, novelty warning, tips, and pictures of other products from the line. The package is very informative and in a variety of languages. The print is very small, it may be hard to read if you have sight problems.
