This unassuming little beauty is a butt plug. Ok, kids, let's break that down. Butt - the specifically the orifice of your butt also known as your anus, a-hole, colon, etc. Plug - a piece used to fill a hole. All right, put it together and you get a anal bottling cork, basically. If you didn't follow any of that... Just put it in your butt. Trust me.

It's not that this toy couldn't work for vaginal use, it's just that it's not designed to stimulate that area so it could rather disappoint. And as far as I know, there's not really any other option for use. Though this one does resemble a giant pacifier...

And for any new to 'butt play', a plug differs from a dildo and probe in that it's designed to go in and stay in for a length of time. It's not for thrusting like dildos or probes, or popping like anal beads, or rocking like prostate massagers. One never really stops to think about the wide world of butt products.

Anywho, since just about everyone has a functional butt hole, anyone can use it. And depending on your level of expertise, you could wear it for sex, masturbation, maybe even for extended periods of time, or while driving your car or doing chores. With the flared base, there's very little risk of it getting pulled into your anal canal and lost (yes, it happens). So plug away!

The Plug of Lust is made from silicone. And despite how sweet, soft, and gentle it looks in the pictures, considering it's pearlescent color and unassuming shape, it's very firm. Even the tip of the plug is pretty firm. But honestly, that's not a bad thing. You wouldn't want to wrestle with a limp plug when you wanted to insert it. But it was definitely more stiff that I was expecting. The only part of the plug that had any softness to it was the retrieval ring. It's squishy, bendable, and gives very easily. And this is a good thing because if you choose to wear your plug around, the ring is less likely to poke or irritate you.

So a summary of silicone for those who are not material connoisseurs, it's non-porous and completely body safe: latex free, phthalate free, and sterilizable. With the proper cleaning, yes you can share it with partners with no fear of sharing microscopic nasties. There was no smell that I could detect and the smell of bum-hole can be erased with proper cleaning and perhaps some sweet smelling soap. So in the respect of material, it gets an A+!

There is no texture to this plug and is completely smooth. I don't think I could handle any added texture to a plug, honestly, and the only added stimulation was from the matted feeling of silicone. It definitely had a slight drag to it which felt great. Just make sure you're using plenty of lubricant when you play with your plug.

Well, the design of the plug looks like a pacifier to me. Perhaps that's subliminal messaging to your bum. There is a softly tapered tip to allow for easy insertion, followed by the bulb of the plug for that wonderful full feeling, a very quick tapering back down to a pretty short neck, a round flat base, and then a soft ring for retrieval.

I really liked the design and shape of the plug and made it easy to use for a plug-newbie like myself. Even though this is the "large" of the pair of lust plugs, I don't think it's out of the question for relatively new anal players to use. Just make sure you're well lubed, warm up with a small probe or some apt fingers, and you're good to go! It's all a matter of relaxing your muscles.

My only issue with it is the neck. I feel that it's a bit short and makes it a little more challenging for the anal sphincter to hold in place. It's plenty thin enough compared to the bulbous part, but it's just a bit short for my particular booty.

But what's some good things about it? The silicone feels great! It's firm enough to fill you up adequately but the base and ring are soft enough not to irritate like a hard material might. And, of course, being able to sterilize the toy is invaluable when it's being used anally.

When I used this plug the first time, I couldn't help but stare at the plug. Maybe I was a bit too forward to purchase the large size as someone who has never used a plug before. The most I had done in the backdoor realm of play was a 1-inch or so diameter probe. But I warmed myself up with some relaxing foreplay, used a generous amount of lube (can never have too much), and went to work inserting it.

I was pleased when it was really easy to get in. I was downright surprised, actually. And it was just big enough to be wonderfully filling as it slightly pushed against a spot I have an inclination to believe is the back of my G-spot but wasn't so big that it was stretching or uncomfortable or difficult for someone of my lack of experience. So newbies, don't be put off by the "large". As long as you're patient and safe, there's no reason this couldn't do it for you.

But! I had a pop-goes-the-weasel type of situation as well. And really, that's not what a plug is meant to do. Remember how easy I said it was to get it inside? Well, I found that to actually be a downside for the same exact reason. I tried to tell it I'd rather it stay inside my bum until I was done but it was just a matter of time until... pop! Though it could just be that I'm a beginner when it comes to plugs and I need to master control of my muscles, I do think it would be a heck of a lot easier if the neck was just a tad longer and thinner to encourage my body to hold it in.

And really, that was the only con amidst a sea of wonderfulness.

Because this plug is made of silicone, clean up is easy and the variety of ways to care and love your plug are many. You can use antibacterial soap and warm water, a 10% bleach solution (please rinse before using the toy again!), boiling, toy cleaning spray or wipes, etc. I recommend using a combo of the above, after all, you not only want the bacteria dead and gone, but you really don't want that eau du derrière to linger on your toy and ergo in your home.

As for storing, your limit is your imagination. There's not an easy way to harm this toy. The only possibilities are not letting it dry before storing (it'll mold), putting lots of weight on it (destroyed!), or burying it among dyed lesser quality materials (it may or may not pick up the dye colors, I haven't tested that to know for sure). You can put it in a plastic bag, in it's original plastic molding (with or without the naked woman paper insert), or just in a sock drawer.

One thing to make sure of is to only use water-based lubricant with this plug. Make sure it's a good thick one, of course, to help anal play be pleasurable instead of painful. But most silicone will react with silicone-based lube with horrible results. Make sure you test a small area first before using one if you're determined to use your favorite silicone lubricant.

As you can see in the picture, the packaging is rather minimal in the standard molded plastic clamshell. And there's even a lovely naked woman on the front with her butt crack only just barely not visible. As possible as it is to use this as storage, it's not so practical, even if you remove the cardboard insert. It just takes up too much space for such a little toy.



Hm, I wonder what this product could be for? Well, let's see, it says "The restrainer for your tight lust chamber!" Lust chamber? Interesting... I've heard the anus called many things, but this has got to be a first. And why does it need restraining? Oh my!
