The Plug of Lust (small) is a teeny-tiny butt plug, designed for shy beginners or those who want a full range of sizes represented in their collection. As an anal toy, male and female-bodied people are welcome! Two other sizes (medium and large) are available, if small doesn't suit your purposes.



Great for...
Since the Plug of Lust is so small and has a specialized shape, it's not really suitable as a vaginal toy. However, many features make it great as an anal toy.

The Plug's comfortable, body-safe material means that it is easy to insert, can be worn for extended periods of time, and is free to bend with you since it's solidly made but still bendy. The 100% silicone also offers some temperature play options, though not as ranged as glass or steel. The Plug is easy to clean and store (though you'll have to find your own options). Since it has no electronic or motorized parts, it's totally waterproof and a no-brainer to use.

The Plug excels at couples' play or when combined with other toys. Its small size and intention of 'being put in and left there' means you're free to play with other areas of your body or your partners. Go nuts.

But Pass, if...
The Plug of Lust (small) will not work for those advanced in anal play and even average users may have to exercise their best judgment. It's a very small toy. Though it has a flared base and retrieval ring, the slim neck is not very long. The Plug will act best as a small place-holder and is not conducive to thrusting, penetrative play that seeks to provide a sensation of depth.

The Plug of Lust is 100% silicone and comes in one color: an opaque, matte white. It feels fairly smooth, slightly draggy and doesn't suck up my water-based lubes when in use. It as a lateral seam but it can't be seen in pictures and barely in person. Certainly, it can't be felt in use.

Plug has no texture, though it has some helpful curving and flaring that's designed to help with penetration. While these curvatures are noticeable, I would say that the entire toy is too short for these to be considered sensations of texture -- plus, thrusting with the Plug isn't its best use.

In terms of realism, I think the Plug resembles, vaguely, a thumb -- it's about the size of one, though the tip is very narrow. You could also say the Plug looks like a binky or pacifer, but I prefer not think about that.

It's teeny!



The Plug measures:
Insertable length: 2", much like the length of a thumb.
Girth: know the large bulb is also 1.25", which is the same size of the base. This makes it just slightly less than 4" in circumference.

I found the Plug incredibly easy to insert, very comfortable to keep in. I, however, am a beginner to anal toys and on top of that, don't use them often. The only other anal toy I've used is the LX-3 by Lux. I will compare them in the Performance section.



The Plug comes with a slightly stretchy ring to make removal or manipulation easy. It feels fairly secure and doesn't seem like it would snap or break even with some force.




One thing I would anticipate as a problem for advanced users is that the base is the same size as the bulb's girth. I don't know why you wouldn't make the base the largest part of the toy by far, because obviously, if you can insert the bulb, you could feasibly insert the base too -- by accident. Be careful.

I didn't have a problem since I felt fairly tight to start with and chose a position that would hamper further penetration.

I love the shape of this plug. I find it great on several levels -- first, because it's small enough for my level and size preference, which is subjective, and also because I'm too impatient to warm up. But most of all, I find Plug's tapered point super.



Specifically, the tapered point is exactly what I prefer in Plug's design vs. Lx-3 and I would changed the blunt tip about Lx-3's design, though it's probably one of my favorite toys. Of course, Lx-3 vibrates while Plug doesn't, so they're both great 'flavors' for your toy box.



As you can see above, Lx-3 and Plug are comparable in size. My thumb is slightly smaller than both toys. Though Lx-3 is incredibly comfortable, I would argue that Plug is even more so, since it doesn't have a hard core. The flexible silicone bends with you, which is great for changing positions, sitting, etc.

In addition to being comfortable, Plug's 100% silicone body is really a boon for cleaning.

Since the Plug is really exclusively an anal toy, more extensive care is required. I find soap and water to not be adequate for this task. Though the 100% silicone Plug is made of is a great material, a 10% bleach solution for immersion is ideal for removing odors and ensuring that no bacteria remain.

You could also boil the Plug, if you really want to make sure it's entirely sanitary. Since the Plug is so small, I doubt using a condom as a sleeve is a viable option, so boiling would be a good idea before sharing this toy.

One bad thing about the Plug: the packaging. Holy wow, this is some atrocious packaging. Not only is it entirely indiscreet with an embarrassing phrase in broken english (though pretty funny), it's not suitable for storage either. It's really packaging meant for display in a store only.



This problem is easily solved -- get a small or medium silk, satin or gauze bag. For such a small toy with no motorized or delicate components, this is really all that's necessary. Phew!




Since the Plug is silicone, beware that water-based lubes are really the best option. Premium silicone lubes might be an option, but a patch test is necessary first. If you do not plan to use condoms after using the plug, oil-based lubes are also appropriate.
